David produces as if he's still doing television (I'm subscribed, so I do watch him). Jo and Vic, while injecting some artistic (and talented) production, are warm and inviting, drawing you into their day to day encounters. And Vic's exaggerated narrations are hilarious!

Hi guys, hope you don't mind me saying but you've chose exceptionally well my good man (she's beautiful). You've made exactly the best decision. Life is so short and your old stressful life will do you no good long term. I really hope your new business venture sky rockets. You two seem quite chilled which is great. I wish I'd taken that path when I was your age but children came early for me (no regrets). They're your ages now. Take care and never argue but always talk... everything can be overcome...

Love that new lead-in, so cool, so well done! Goodbye Mama Duck. Take your little ducklings into the wide and wonderful world. So cool to see them just toddle off the edge and drop and then they're off. I liked your choices of plants and seeds, be nice to see your 'new' garden grow, That was a fun and very personal video and I loved the chance to get to know you better. So, back to "Holly" as a focus from now on, I guess? Oh yeah, that was what I forgot to mention. That sawing bit of the video. Mate, toes are valuable things, too valuable to wear nothing to protect them. To make that reciprocating saw work better it needs to have the wood butted right up against the guards, then it has a chance to do its job. I have a bigger one and honestly, with the demolitions that I was doing around my house the last couple of years it has been the best thing ever. I just put the "Wood & Nails" blade in and go straight through. Awesome and so useful. Anyway, protect yourself when using tools. Them little toeseys are valuable things ;)

It's a rainy day in South Jersey, so I'm going back and catching up on missed episodes. Saw you using a sawzall (that's what we americans call them) and wanted to give you a tip. All power saws have a foot that the teeth pull towards. If you keep the wood or metal against the foot they are quite safe. Its when you have the foot away from the material that things go wonky.

Thank Ducks: and you both for the interesting video. ENOUGH SAID. Quote... "You know where you stand with a hand saw" But with bare feet and an electric reciprocating saw, you REALLY need to know where you stand. Not seen if you have a bath on board. But if so you could rig up a plank seat across it for eating. Any food spillage can, at the end of the meal, be washed away when you are hosed down with the shower head. This also acts as a preWash for the Tea shirt and other clothes stained with food. Realising you are both cyclists, it occurred to me you might own a cycle cape. Use that at meal times. It will save on washing and reduce the clutter of drying racks. A cycle cape can be spungged or rinsed off with the shower attachment. You will find it a blessing having a partner, as they can carefully undo the neck fastenings, raise it above your head, then, with the other hand gather up the outer edges of the skirt. No mess, dump the whole lot in the shower tray. No clothes stained. Looking forward to your next video, and those of the past I might stumble across in the meantime.

That's great the eggs finally hatched and the ducklings made their way into the river. You have a lot of useful space on the bow of your boat, you need some folding chairs and a little folding table for relaxing up there and railing, definitely railing, so your don't fall overboard.

The essential rule with a Sawzall...(That's what they call them in Canada)..is to push the baseplate against the wood you are cutting..this gives the process safety, solidity and prevents the wood locking to the saw and vibrating back and forth. Wear boots when you cut mate, jeesus lol. I love this channel, I moved to Canada a long time ago. I spent my childhood on the canals, i miss em...always will. Great entertainment you guys on a Winter Sunday afternoon in Toronto....Be safe, lottsa luck. :)

Great vlog guys, particularly like the duck story as I had a similar experience a few years ago except my duck used a plant pot on the top of my narrowboat! The poor ducklings had to slide down the cratch cover to get to the water. What was the mother thinking when she made her nest up there?
