Rotated team or not, Toulon are not the mighty team they used to be. Also they played with 2 men down in the first half and even received a third yellow card and yet, Glasgow still found a way to lose. Not sure the scenario of this game should lead to celebrations. 4 points were available today, not just 2.

One that got away from Glasgow. When Duncan missed that 2 points near enough infront of the posts i knew it would come back to haunt them and it did. Too much playing into Toulon’s slow game and not enough playing their own game, 2 points on the road is still a positive in terms of the table.

@ Well it’s just not a load of crap is it😂 Ryan Wilson and other pundits said themselves it’s one that got away and that’s credit to how far Glasgow have come they can put out second string sides and compete with whats an on form Toulon side at the moment. I never took away from how well Glasgow played but ultimately when the opposition team are down to 13 men and you lose that period 6-0 then when you lose a man you concede 14 points its always going to be hard to win the game. Big Joe was immense and he probably wont be in the back up ranks for much longer with performances like that. Glasgow are quickly becoming not just one of the top URC sides which they have been for a number of seasons but also one of Europes top sides and overcoming away challenges like this with under strength sides is crucial to a championship winning side. Hopefully Harlequins will be the side that Glasgow put away in London and put the robbery of last season behind us
