I like that there is a family sitting on the balcony of thier house, with thier dog, taking part in the groundbreaking. Talk about having your tent pointed to the temple.

I am glad you like that! It was my family haha. I died a little when our dog was barking.

We Thank Thee, O God, for a Prophet who is currently President Nelson. It was a beautiful sacred ceremony, and I loved your humor. Did I hear showers of blessing in the form of rain during the prayer? We are grateful to God for all that He does for us.

I feel blessed and also a huge responsibility to dwell in the mountains of Ephraim. As our dear prophet prayed for us to literally become a covenant people I knew that I was being called to the most Holy of callings and that I need to answer that call.

I'm not from Ephraim but can feel the significance of that place. Not often do you hear a prophet talk so distinctly about "very clear instruction" received by the Lord. This ceremony and the Spirit that accompanied it simultaneously witnesses of Jesus Christ, the eternal significance of temples, and the prophetic call of Russel M Nelson.

I couldn’t agree with you more! While I am not from the Utah area, my children have deep ties to Ephraim (their grandparents and generations before are buried there), and I had to replay that part about “very clear instructions” to let it sink deeper and how that impressed me. I’m so glad the prophet was able to do the groundbreaking - glad for him and his ties to that sacred place. So glad I stumbled upon this KZbin video - it really touched me and I felt the spirit as I watched it.

Thank you for sharing! May the temple in Ephraim help wake up the sleeping drunkards of Ephraim lineage to fulfill their promise to help redeem Zion and build New Jerusalem under our dispensation head and prophets.

If russell m nelson is a prophet, where can we read the prophecies and revelations that he has received from the Savior Jesus Christ like the Prophet Joseph received?

Why are women involved in the ground breaking ceremony? This was never done in the past. What's next? Is the church going to give women the priesthood?
@reaper35162 жыл бұрын
Women have always had it. Policy dictates how and when women participate in formal priesthood matters. In the patriarchal family the wife is truly a queen and priestess. She shares in all powers and authorities with her husband. Though not ordained to a office.
@michaelsherryporter55812 жыл бұрын
Women in the church already have the priesthood. Listen to Pres Nelson’s talk last conference or a conference before.

Hi, Although the essential ordinances and Covenants, that enable mankind to enter into exaltation have been restored to the earth, it doesn't mean that there can't be changes to church policy. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a church of continuing revelation. A lot of times I believe that God really wants to reveal his mind and will to us, but we have to ask him. I hope this helps clarify some things.
