People dont realize that he lost to Highly Developed ants, not regular ones. These ants had spent 1000 years evolving themselves. Kang may have been strong, but when your being ganged up on by hundreds of ants at once, its kinda hard to win. Take the Battle of Wakanda for example. So why don't they just scale up the hyper-developed ants anytime there's a threat? Or take some out to with them to study their technology and advance the human race. There wouldn't be a limitation of material because the ants were able to create their tech at a subatomic level, they can just scale those materials accordingly. Ant colonies have tens of thousands of ants, so they could just bring out the ants to solve any threat in the future. It's poor writing and an asspull, that's why it's stupid, and leaves a huge plot hole anytime there's a notable threat if they're not used.

the movie had some big problems but considering those ants are type 2 civilization, which makes each of them far smarter than your average tony stark i would say it is fair.

this was were kang fell off. idc how small he was, he killed thousands of avengers, yet he couldn't beat ant's. and he was suppose to be the best version of kang. he really should not have been the main villain of this film. because this just bitched him out completly. im really not trying to dissrespect ant man over here, but come on. this was suppose to be the next thanos of the mcu, yet he got bitched out by ant man of all people. he didn't die to gods like thor, geniouses like stark, or hell even to spiderman. he gets killed by ant's.
