Just stumble across your channel, nice video. Thanksgiving is only celebrated in the US Virgin Islands (in the Caribbean). If some other Caribbean islands have thanksgiving dinner then that family chose to do so but it is not a thing in the Caribbean. Only in the US, USVI and Canada is Thanksgiving Celebrated. Thanks for the video.

Wow! With all the evil history of Thanksgiving, we really, actually celebrate Thanksgiving here in the Caribbean? I didn't even realise it was a thing here. Aside from that though, we gotta eat and I love the videos you do.
@calih814Ай бұрын
No it’s not celebrated in the Caribbean, that maybe a particular family bring their tradition and custom to the Caribbean.
@ladieessenceАй бұрын
I don’t think she actually lives in the Caribbean and to each their own. You do you and let people live their lives.
@calih814Ай бұрын
@ R U Crazy? Or do you not read properly? If that family wants to have thanksgiving where they are that “ family choose to” that’s what I said. I do not have time for your drama, enjoy your life.
@islandgirl333029 күн бұрын
Which islands in the Caribbean except for the ones affiliated with the U.S.? I have never heard about it being celebrated in the islands that I have been to. We certainly don't celebrate it in T&T. I live in Canada so I celebrate it here because it is a public holiday and part of the culture. When we migrate, we celebrate the country's holidays. Ria lives in America, so she has adapted to the culture. Read her profile. If you look at her menu, it is not a typical American Thanksgiving menu. Re the evil part, we are free to think and use our common sense and not be brainwashed by other people's beliefs and opinions. Ria is celebrating it with Caribbean food in her house.
@islandgirl333029 күн бұрын
Thanks, Ria, now I know why I no longer entertain. I tried to do the impossible. You did a lot of the preparation ahead of time and froze things. I will give it a try again. I was always late, so I stopped because of the complaints, and it was very tiresome and strenuous on me. Maybe you can make a video to tell us, who live alone, how to prepare for a dinner party.
