Nice indeed. But you risking a lot being on your own and driving on the beach, sometimes it looks way to close to get stuck. Be safe. Great adventure for sure.

Rover Tasmania Actually we were very careful as we were alone and far from anybody but the sand was consistently stiff and gave us a good feeling. After all the beaches in tassie are probably just completely different. I am still dreaming of tackling the Aussie tracks and beaches one day. Keep rovering! ;)

Awesome guys! I dreamed to go to Murmansk with my own Defender. I see that you took a lot of forest trail, any chance you share your road? You need some autorisation or stuff to drive your own car in Russia (regarding the Visa)?
@Flatbaddriver5 жыл бұрын
For driving in Russia you need a visa, insurance of course and a special paper that you fill in when entering the border. Unfortunately I am not so sure about the roads anymore...

where did you find the resources to find those beautifull roads?

@@Flatbaddriver how did the (2A?) gearbox hold up with the 200Tdi?

It worked but later I also upgraded the transmission to keep the overall stress and noise down.
