Epic Fail - Don't try to raise your solar array by 3 feet by yourself.

Glad you escaped being crushed. My 8 panel arrays weigh 1000lbs for every 8 panels, so I imaging you had a similar 3000lbs there on top of you. I actually have a similar plan to lift my panels in certain sections by 4 inches, definitely will be more cautious now, thanks 😅. Also, at leas the panels themselves are the cheapest components and better to replace them now instead of after the tariff's increases.

@hacked2123 Yeah I just got 3 more batteries before tariffs. 4 inches is safer than 4 feet I'd think. You sound smarter.
