If you're somehow able to change the TTL on your desktop or through the router then you would be able to go faster than 5 megabits per second

The phone knows it's connected via hot spot, and thats where visible is limiting the speed so not sure how anything like that could speed up.

I included a lot of info that was relevant to my usage history based on all my initial questions not knowing how it would work, but I am not sure what things other people would want to know. What information were you looking for, if I can answer a question I'd be happy to.

If you are looking for a hotspot, I would suggest using something like a M1 NightHawk and order a SIM. Activate the SIM and then you can swap your sim to whatever device (unlocked device) Another thing would be getting something like the Chester Cheetah or the Peplink routers (more$$) Also check 4G/5G routers around your area to see how far are you from those locations.
