super star cannon is never used, but it does what you expect to. Annihilate Destroyer and events. Phantom Phoenix deserves a chance too, even if it's from the event that must not be named.

@@Kio_Kurashi but is the SUPER star cannon banned? sorry I have incredible reading comprehension disabilities and haven't actually checked the ban list which I should probably do before commenting edit: I thought it was like a whole Google docs, and it turns out it was just in the description. nevermind, the super star cannon should technically be allowed since it's comparatively not as strong in hard mode as its predecessor.

@@Kio_Kurashi Yeah, but the Super Star Shooter likely isn't. This series is less OP weapons and more overused weapons that are banned. Not many people use the Super Star Shooter, so I bet it's allowed.

For the non op run again I suggest banning every sword that is needed to craft the zenith since all of them are op INCLUDING the copper shortsword. Hope this helps!

You could try the pulse bow, never seen anyone use it before. For those that don't know it is sold by the travelling merchant when all 3 mech bosses are killed

for the Sandgun you can use Hallowed or Crimson/Corruption Sand for more damage since those types of sand can pierce enemies

Personal recommendations on the ranger playthrough are A. The dart gun/pistol (crim/corrupt mimics) B. The Uzi, if it isn't banned. Or C. The toxicarp, a weapon fished up in corruption. Oh also, please get the endless arrow/musket pouch, to make sure you never run out

I think don't ban the Dart rifle or Dart pistol but ban Ichor darts. More fun that way. And I would reccomend using and farming for the Marrow! The Marrow mixed with the Dart rifle and crystal darts would be very good! Also. Use Launchers in this series! Launchers are seriously underrated! Ban the Electrosphere launcher though. A bit too strong in my opinion.

@@happydaysgames I personally love using launchers. Because people just forget about them. Even though Shroomite has a rocket helmet. Anytime I play ranger, I always use the Electrosphere launcher and Snowman cannon! Very fun weapon to use. And absolutely busted after Plantera! The Dart weapons are very strong with Crystal darts but I think it's better than cheesing boss fights with Ichor... My favourite custom crafted ammo for guns in Terraria is Explosive ammo. Just a lot of fun to shred the destroyer with explosive ammo!

Maybe get the toxicarp? If you get crates trying to catch it, titanium bars can be shimmered into ore, and titanium ores can be shimmered into adamantite ore, which can then be used to craft the frost armor.

Now that your in Hardmode happy. You can use Hallow sand for your sand gun. Also, ichor darts might help you a lot. And if your lucky Crimson mimics might drop a dart gun. And once you beat a mech boss you can make the Super Star Shooter. Not sure if it’ll be banned since it’s a direct upgrade to the Star Cannon.

Try using the pulse bow if you see it from the traveling merchant it’s decent just got buffed but nobody uses it it’s post plantara I think but it can carry you to pillers
