Ray Leonard was my favorite fighter as a kid, but as I got older, I realized Ray got favoritism from judgesmaybe more so than any fighter in history. Hearns should have gotten this win, but judges almost force you to knock put Leonard back then. He was "good for the sport" and anything close would always go to him.

Hearns was railroaded. There is no way to deny it. Not saying Leonard didn’t make it interesting and display a ton of heart but come on, even if it came down to a dead even you have the two knockdowns as decisive.

I see your point, but it doesn't work that way in boxing. The 2 knockdowns scored by Hearns resulted in 10-8 rounds for him. Conversely, Leonard also had 2 rounds of 10-8. Why? Cause he rocked Hearns in both those rounds and dominated them quite thoroughly. Hearns was arguably more hurt in the 2 rounds Leonard nailed him than in the 2 rounds that he knocked Leonard down.

This was a great fight but Leonard lost to Hearns here I mean two knockdowns mean NOTHING!?! This robbery was worse than Leonard also LOSING too Hagler in my opinion I mean Hagler was the champ and was the aggressor your supposed to beat the champ not run around and hold then in last minute have some flurries that didnt really hurt Hagler because he kept coming at him. On top of that the gloves were bigger, the ring was bigger and they took 3 rounds off the fight all for Leonard!! Just another robbery for Leonard because he was the champ so he kept the belt which was ANOTHER BULLSHIT DECISION that was even worse than the other one SMFH!!
