What an epic adventure and amazing story telling! Love how a couple of East Coast guys are keeping the tradition alive and rubbing shoulders with West Coast guys! You deserve so much credit for your hard work and devotion to the hot rod craft! Sweetheart Roadster better be there next year! Go Iron Trap, keep moving forward, and thank you for taking us along for the ride!

Thanks again for your guys time! I’m the son in law of the 32 ford roadster pick up that was an ambr contestant that came up and talked to you guys about my 29 coupe. I’m about to lower the rear end and you guys gave me really good advice on how to do it!! You guys are great and my favorite channel to watch

One of your best videos yet in my opinion, nice to see Matt so passionate about the fact the cars were in the wrong place. The Green Hell 28/29 Roadster is from what I've seen on the Internet one of my favourite Hot Rods, I too love that show rod style and deserved to be in a the suede place. One day I'll make it out to the States, hopefully in the not too distant future. Keep up the great work as always and get the Sweet heart Roadster done, so I dream of owning it. Thanks for all the videos.

Matt have you ever heard of Darryl Starbird ? He built Show cars back in '60's and 70's possibly even in the late '50's ! He was I believe from the Wichita , Kansas area ! I seen many of his cars ! I know that you're not into some cars but I remember one car that was built like a Stagecoach ! I've always wondered what happened to it ! I've seen the Batmobile , Beatnik and few others many years ago but never see or hear about them anymore ! I'm kinda showing my age now remembering them now ! I love seeing the old Hot Rods and some old Show cars as long as they're not way over done ! To me keeping it simple maybe a little over board but putting so much on them just looks gross to me ! I'm patiently waiting to see how the Sweetheart Roadster turns out as it's really looking awesome !

If there was a two seater roadster with no flames entered; that’s the one that should have won rather than the car in the thumbnail. That black ‘32 coupe was so nice. The black roadster was dope too. The green T bucket was beautiful.

There were two. It's a competition, and tubs are allowed. The straight black roadsters didn't win, it's that simple.

I agree, pro touring cars are a particular group who are outside of the Grand Nat ethos , not that they’re bad or anything but not what you would expect, it’s not a Goodguys meet.

I think what referring to about inappropriate placing * of cars is called curation. Curating is the process of putting things together that go together like a museum.

Steady Matt....! What´s with all the F... words?? The absence of just that is one of the things I value about your channel. Surely where must be another way to express your frustrations? Otherwise than that; great coverage and thoughts of the show, good work and a pleasure to watch as always, and you´re forgiven of course.

Your right about one thing there was stuff I almost saw on the video that look really cool got passed over for the more prettier car's shinny shit compared to car's that garage built stuff the ornery guy would build. Not putting down the endless cash car's truck's, but I can speak for the drive way/small garage builder's.

I don't mind black Hot Rods but just plain black paint job doesn't do it for me ! I like at least a little other paint color with the black to bring out some character or style of the vehicle !
