These "from the warehouse floor" talks are great. I don't normally like additional email and YT piles of info-- but in this case: Okay! The USPS... well, they instituted their Holiday surcharge pricing for packages about two weeks ago, which really sucks. (My $130 package cause me to run over to a UPS Store and ... $100 did it. I was still moaning about the price but it was a big box-- but it is this sort of pricing strategy that will see the Postal System privatized. That will be bad, INHO.) That Meng stuff is terrific, a tad pricey for me but we shall see. My greatest concern is the oh-so-close release of the Navy SeaLab III... ! Best of the Holidays to you and yours, Steve-- looking forward to bigger and better modeling (in no small part, thanks to you)!

The original King Kong made a huge impresssion on Harryhausen, too. So much so that he got in touch with Willis O’Brien. I think their first production together was Mighty Joe Young. Try and do that these days. You’ll need a university degree to get your foot i the door.
