The fruit is beautiful! The strawberries are a nice vibrant red color, juicy looking, plump strawberries! A lot of times in America the strawberries in things in the convenience stores are kinda wilted looking and shriveled up. They don't look like your beautiful strawberries at all!

urcute08 better make some as homemade jam/syrup and put strawberry bits to it,cause strawberries outside japan are just not the same, they are good but leaning towards acidic, slightly sweet and fresh, while in Japan, fruits are usually 2-3x sweeter than any fruits found outside

Fruit is expensive in Japan since only ~ 12% of the land is used for agriculture and orchards/greenhouses are small due to high costs, so you get lots of premium fruit production which is economically sustainable. I'd like to see some Kaki or Mikan treats since they're still in season (very late season, but still available)

The first time i had anko, I didn’t know what it was, so I wasn’t prepared for it. After i got used to it, I really liked it. Of course when I tried anko, it was the first time I had travelled to an Asian country back in 1980. Raised in the Midwest, tacos seemed exotic the first time we tried them.

5/5/2018 Strawberry season has been going strong since March here in California (I live near Fresno). The most helpful hint I can give you for selecting strawberries is make sure the red of the berry goes all the way up under the cap. Those are the ripest and sweetest berries.

If you can find them, get the ichigo-sando from 7-11!! Those have custard on them as well, and I think that makes all the difference- it balances out the whipped cream really nicely. For some reason, however, they seem to be more scarce there, and sell out quickly! On a side note, I first started watching your videos to get excited about my trip to Japan, and also hear the combo of English and Japanese (to study up!) Now I watch because I miss Japan so much! Keep up the good work!!
