Nice work Wade! Sometimes being a little nervous is a good thing. It makes a person really pay attention and means you understand all that can go wrong. If you don't ever get nervous, it's time for a different profession. Because at that point, you are likely to get bit. Be safe out there, my friend. 🙂👍

Highly skilled professional loggers are great. I used to work in the forestry services industry mostly doing site prep burns and understory controlled burns. I came in behind the loggers to do the site prep and it's great to come in behind a really skilled logging crew.

Oh yes sir! I'm telling you from experience! The worst is when you notch the tree and go around the back side to throw it and you stall the saw out in the tree before you have gotten deep enough. Can't push it over and can't let go or it fall on you! Of course I ran a track cutter which is alot more agile then a wheel cutter! These kind of trees will turn a wheel cutter over quick. And this machine has a quadco head on it they are notorious for dropping trees. That's a good way to bend that 10000 dollar saw disk

I cut a monster hollow hard maple covered in vines. I cut two egress trails downslope away from the drop at 45 degrees. I should have chained it as soon I realized. So as not to barber pole, it all went "fine" ....I dropped the 394 at the first "POP" and ran like H3LL....didn't stop at the bottom of the trail landed in a pile of briar....I was still shaking 6 hours later...scariest damn tree I ever cut, it was 105" + circumference DBH. Good job, nerves get ya when realize she hollow. Be safe

Fuck me Wade, you had me worried for a second LOL, 99.9% of the people donot have a clue on how hard shit like this is to do and if your not shaking you should not be doing it cause your going to screw up . That cut right there you did one hell of a job , awesome work there Tater
