Was really an unbelievable story and was able to see first hand the pictures and story that went along with them. The interesting part was when they found the head gear for the radio, it was as soft and usable as the day it went in the plane. Also they did fire the guns prior to bringing them in the US and they also worked as if brand new. The ice perfectly preserved the interior of the planes. Awesome you guys did this!

Imagine a team effort of 2 teams who play opposing nations doing a combined obstacle course [photo-reconnaissance, strafing, dive bombing (with or without ground emplacements), then followed by high altitude bombing, then dive bombing and finally a team dogfight] using either highly visible lasers, airsoft or paint balls. Each team [squadron] would have to score so many points in each phase of the game, so many points per segment based on successful actions [photo-recon would require one taking good high quality images of selected objectives to 'send back to HQ' so the score would be based on quality and accuracy of images] and photo recon would be first because the course would 'of course' get messed up with each successive phase. Hits would be registered either by onboard sensors [like 2 pieces of sensitive foil inside the body for airsoft, external cameras or drones for paint ball, and either internal photo-diodes, internal cameras, or drones for lasers (foam would have to be translucent for laser)] or by drones and placement of hits, or number of hits would register points within a fixed time limit since it is highly unlikely they would be knocked out of the air [especially when knowing no laser you could get to work inside would knock them down AND such a powerful laser would be too dangerous for such a game]. Both strafing runs and bombing runs would probably be best done with some kind of water balloons or paintball type devices. In between each physical attack on the course(s), there would be pauses to go in and count the number of points per team, possibly reset any moved or damaged props/targets, and possibly wipe off the last team's paint so as to reduce confusion [if each team is attacking the same course instead of two identical courses being built]. I find the idea most intriguing even if you stop there, but to enhance the course difficulty, you could add night mission, AA and search lights to make the mission more difficult for those who prove to be expert at day missions. It could become a full time permanent event some place with multiple teams registering as teams, with rules such as the size of a paint-bomb/torpedo [to keep the need for accuracy within a fixed and repeatable scope], the caliber of paint balls [although I think they are relatively uniform, some will behave differently than others so it could be seen as cheating unless in some form of 'unlimited' class people accept a wider scope of design differentiation] and each team would have a set period of time to complete each section of the course, followed by a set period of time to replace batteries and check for any structural/electrical issues between stages, and penalties for either failing to maintain their fleet [careless/lazy piloting and maintenance crews, after all, lose wars too!] as well as penalties for attacking either before or after the time limits [large lighted pylons would be around to make sure all people knew when the mission was opened [green, most likely] and closed [red, most likely] as well as some form of horn or other sounding device to reinforce the message that the time has begun or ended. Tournaments could get really popular in time and possibly televised internationally! (~_^)-b

The flight characteristics are so much more realistic looking than other RC types.

You dudes are friggin awwsumm!!! I love all the "radio" chatter. The FPV and drone footage was amazing! I don't know what else can be done to make this hobby more realistic than it already is. Maybe a machine that can shrink humans down so we can fly in the plane?

That 360 cam footage was completely awesome. Would love to see more of that. Maybe even some raw 360 footage where we can control the camera angle in the playback or even use VR kits and mobile VR headsets to check it out that way. Fun video. Thanks guys. As always you rock.

Performs like a p38 lightning. The p38 lightning is legendary. Nice work. You guys should be really proud of yourselves.
