Seen them live twice and they are one of the most fun bands to watch, they have all these little routines and bits of stagecraft, they blast out this complex and stunning music and they're all goofing around, the keyboard player is bonkers and has been known to show up at the back of the crowd on occasion

Epica is an absolutely great damn band. I think 2 or 3 of the members used to play in God Dethroned which were really fucking amazing if you haven't heard them yet. Also, it is pronounced like Ep-E-Ka if you don't know by now. Haha.
