Yes thanks Souls loved it, yes reminded me of Evanescence the early Fallen type which i love. Epica have great music and lyrics, the only thing for me is i do not like to much growling, but that is only preference, but i still think they have greatness about them, all the jolly

Lyrically, this is the equivalent of Nightwish's Romanticide, a very, very bad breakup but more of a poppy feel. Why can't these nice girls find a nice guy. Very well done, Simone is great, and the band is really killing it. Merry Christmas, stay safe, God Bless, keep rocking.

It can be a little bit like.. but it's not Evanescence. The melody is great and catchy and Simone's voice is beautiful, especially when she slides into her operatic register (not much in this song except at the very end). And the breakdown in the middle of this song is amazing, it really is better than 90% songs I hear on radio these days.

Epica is good because it is diverse. Wouldn't it be better if all their songs were similar to each other, like most bands in heavy genres? Everyone will find their favorite in their material, someone likes mainstream songs like this one, someone likes acoustic tracks, someone likes lyrical ballads, someone likes fast and heavy up to black metal and a lot of growling. There's something for everyone
