Retrospect was their 10th anniversary show, held in Rotterdam. It was a 3 hour show and Simone was 3 months pregnant, she must have been exhausted by the end but you wouldn’t know it from her performances. They have used the same orchestra and choir once before when they recorded their Classical Conspiracy CD (sadly no video). That was back in 2008. Also watch the latest performance from 2023: Epica - Unleashed (Live at the AFAS Live) 🙂 Beautiful and super epic, even without the live orchestra. Simone sounds better than ever!
