My husband and I bred, raised and trained Giant Schnauzers for over 40 years. Training is key to a happy life for all. We trained for show, family pets, therapy and protection. Daniel, I'm 62, currently have a 10 year old golden retriever and have had big dogs all my life. I'm guessing you've started a lifelong love & companionship with dogs ~ there's no known cure. . . We too have become a full time RV family (with a Jeep 😎) and have embarked on our own epic family road trip. It me, my wife, and 3 children...and 1 pup. I’m looking forward to seeing how you guys integrate the puppy into your life. We’ll be watching for tips and we hope someday to see you guys out on the road. Getting the dogged trained is VITAL. Ours is well trained and its amazing the difference living our life style.

All the feels with this episode! Thanks for sharing those sweet puppy moments. I am not sure what is up with the RV maintenance reputation. Our RV was in the shop for 4 months for a cleaning and inspection. Wild! We've learned to do maintenance ourselves, or use a mobile tech. Safe travels :)

I recommend you guys use a word of your choice every time your dog goes no. 2. We used the word "duty" for our dog. Eventually your dog learns to go on demand. Very handy in really cold or stormy weather, you all get back inside a lot quicker. 😊👍🏼

I really want a gsp but I work a full time job. I got my first gsp when I was 12 and I trained him to go off leash in a field and on our lawn in just 3 weeks at the age of 15 weeks. I work a full time job and I am going to give him 1 hour of field exercise in the morning and 1-2 hours when I come home. I will also be paying a neighbourhood kid to walk my dog around the block and play with him in my backyard for a bit. Do you think my dog will be ok.
