Carol using a fire rod like a pro , then working her magic , with cooking , can't get better than that . Can't wait to see what you guys do when you start doing more of the " self sufficiency " or " living off the land " stuff you said your going to learn to do in the future . . I know it will be amazing . Because you make everything amazing . I just want to tell you how much you have done for me , every week I can't wait to see the next video , you have helped me through the toughest times of my life , the pandemic and All that we lost , family members loved ones acquaintances and neighbors and my mother was in a nursing home with alzheimer's , it was horrible , and still is for us ( me my daughter and grandchildren who live with me )the craziness of the World today . It's as if , like the picture of foot prints in the sand that stop and then start again , wear God says that's wear I carried you . You , your family , your channel , has done that for me , you keep me interested , you gave me hope , you " Carried Me " I can never say thank you enough and I can't possibly pay you back but I just wanted you to know this . Thank you so much and God Bless you .

In principle, you may only use differential lockers on slippery or loose road surfaces. If you make a turn on a solid road surface with differential lockers, you build up tension in the transmission. That tension can cause a loud bang and dammage. Search the internet for "winding up transmission".

How is it you guys have those bugs so bad elsewhere but not on your island seemingly? I'm in Utah along the base of the Wasatch, and we get mosquitoes at sundown in Spring and Summer but once the sun sets, they settle down (mostly). Worse in the mountains btw. I remember going with my mom to some Indian pow wow north of Niagara Falls on the Canadian side back in 1990 and even THEY complained about the bugs. We're part Cherokee so I figured it had to be bad if the Natives were complaining! LOL! About Jeeps: love the simplicity of my '59 Wagon. Enough said. Best of luck with that thumping. God bless to all!! ❤
@EFRT Жыл бұрын
Yes, because we are beside the lake and always have a good breeze. We don’t get many bugs on the island at all. A few weeks have gone by since that video and most of the deer flies are gone now and the mosquitoes as well. June and July are the buggy months but mostly in the deep forest.

Bugs are awfull in late spring/early summer in Canada, Even with a bug net it’s almost impossible to go camping depending on the place you are.
@FlawedOffroad Жыл бұрын
you dont need to and shouldnt stop when going between 2 and 4 hi and back to 2. only Low range. just be off the gas/ coasting and it shouldnt bang. watch for the little light in the dash and dont accelerate till its changed to whatever you shifted to. It could be the front axle disconnect acting up

My 2015 JKU requires that I stop, when in 4WD, put the car in neutral, foot on brake and then shift, per my owner's manual. I think shifting from 4WD to 2WD on the fly is a dicey proposition.
