Thank you for always including the history of the places you go to or stop at during your travels. I love travel and especially the history of all towns. The town you were at was absolutely beautiful. I loved the architecture of the buildings and all the statues, it was like walking back in time and experiencing what they did back then. It gives me a peace and comfort I haven't felt in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing with us.

I was surprised you didn’t show the building where Canada began, Confederation Centre . You walked right by it as the building was in the background but not mentioned. I enjoy your presentations. Great way to spend your time. Keep going.

This video was a gift today. So beautiful. It is like a dream for me to watch. Anne Girl, was like another child in my family. Many years ago, I had my two daughters and two granddaughters to my house to watch an Anne of Green Gables marathon. We snuggled up all day and watched Anne living her life on PEI. The next week I shopped at a resale shop and found a wool winter coat for one granddaughter. It became her Anne coat. She wore it until it was way too small. She passed it on to her younger sister. What a treasured memory. Thank you for the video today.

I too have memories, beautiful to me, with my young children around me, watching Anne of Green Gables. All grown now, my girls still borrow cd's to review stories that became such a part of our lives. Such a beautiful area!

PEI lobster is the best and so are the oysters. We bought a couple of 2 pounders right off the dock in Tignish and proceeded to cook them on the stove of our Turtleback trailer. Didn’t have a big enough pot so we improvised with a frypan and inverted baking pan on top and cooked them one at a time. Every part was tender and sweet, well worth the effort and messy cleanup! Next time you’re on PEI, check out the Shellfish Festival, it’s epic.

We did the North Cape.. visited the Wind institute, walked the peninsula. Watched some locals harvest the seaweed. We made a point of visiting Skinner's Pond, home of Stomping Tom a Canadian icon. Yes we visited Charlottetown, but went to the Lobster carnival In Summerside! Went to a brewery in Montague. Tails or claws? I prefer the whole thing.. We visited the lighthouse where the Titanic signal was recieved. We did the ferry there, bridge on the way off. Loved our time on-island. You are going to love Cape Breton as well.

Thank you for the never-ending inspiration your trips give me. I was watching the tidal clash on PEI and thinking it reminded me of Cape Reinga just before your comment. This is somewhere I plan to revisit next February as part of a 3 week touring trip to the ‘Far North’ of NZ I am leading for my Wellington-based 4wd club. It is your lifestyle that keeps me itching to get out and explore more of my own country.

Was on PEI 41 (OMG) years ago. One of the highlights were the church lobster dinners. Every day a different church would host theses suppers. You'd get a whole lobster, potato salad and a roll . Don't remember the price but it was super cheap . Green Gables was not as built up ( no gift shop). Very beautiful, gentle province.

Ok so, coming from MA and spending so much time in ME lobster is one of my favorite things. I will admit ME has the best most delicious lobster for sure. If you are ever near Georgetown Island ( Bath, Boothbay nearby) must go to Five Islands Lobster company for whole lobster, steamers, the works just breathtaking scenery and Wiscasset ( not to far away) to a place called Red Eats for the lobster roll. Claws are my favorite but love the tail too :-) Hoping for PEI this coming summer 😌 The seals are so cute following you two!! 💜 Barret
