Thank you for sharing your journey with us. I never know what I will learn or see. With your large extended family have you thought about painting rocks and hiding them on the island? When the family gets together, everyone could paint, date, and sign a rock. And of course, hide it. What great fun it would be to have hundreds of rocks hidden on the island like Easter eggs. It would definately be fun to take pictures of each and have a scavenger hunt for certain ones as well. So much happiness can come from a simple rock. Safe travels 🙏🙌🙏

I’m very late in watching this episode but I had to tell you how much I enjoyed the whole series❣️ I’ve watched all your journeys from the beginning when the kids were small. You’re so inspirational! I am a solo empty nester with my new grandson and my plan for my life was to do what you’re doing except my health is not good so watching you I’m living vicariously! I look forward to your post through the winter at the cabin! Stay safe and enjoy each other!

I live in howley Newfoundland. Enjoy your time exploring our beautiful province. Twillingate is a must to visit in June and July for icebergs. It’s a very picturesque fishing village. You will be amazed by the scenery there. Don’t drive at night because of moose, they r a danger at night. Take care and drive safe.

In the past,we traveled too. We took our five kids in various trips from Vancouver to Halifax and also to P.E.I. That was the best education they ever received. So they got to experience how really huge this country is . This was all by car. Unfortunately,we did not get to Newfoundland.

Watching this episode holds so much emotions. This past summer we did Rocky harbor/Gros Morne/Laux Aux Meadows (opps butchered those spellings) with our 3 kids under 5yrs old. This episode felt so full circle to watch together with my husband knowing that we will do that trip again as emptynessers and as hard and SO much fun these years are with littles, me and him also are excited for our times ahead.

The fort there reminds me of the two forts here on Whidbey Island in Washington State that were built for World War II. Three more were built to protect Puget Sound for a total of 5 forts. They were Fort Townsend, Fort Worden. Fort Ebey, Forts Casey and Fort Flagler

My daughter introduced us to your channel only a week ago and the timing is just right as you enter our beautiful province of Newfoundland. Actually 2024 was not a great year for icebergs as they are hit and miss if they show up along the North East Coast . Now 2023 was an absolute awesome year for them in fact in my little channel a cod fishing trip off Twillingate where we saw loads of icebergs and got up close and personal. I'll try and add a link after , but i find KZbin drops comments with links , even KZbin links lol

I‘ve got a question for you: I‘m planning on purchasing and registering a vehicle in the US - I am a german resident. Why and how did you guys register your truck in the state of Montana? I already did some research on this topic and would appreciate a feedback as confirmation of what I‘ve learned. Thanks so much in advance and safe travels where ever four wheels are able to take you to. Best, Alex
