This series is excellent. I appreciate being able to take it in. I do assert that Durga is real. A true being. I had an experience when I was young where I called out to the universe and Durga came to me that night with her tiger. I did not know wo she was at the time, only that she was not human though in human form, It was many years later that when telling this story to someone, that I was shown her identity. I am not Hindu. I became a Sundancer in the indigenous way of where I live and am now a Hedge Druid. As I study and practice my path, I am shown the way is unified. As the way opens, my awe becomes the ocean.

He wasn’t a practitioner of “Black” Magic, he was a follower of Tantra. In my opinion, Bhaironath was lucky, as he met his destiny at the hands of Goddess Kali, although his mannerisms were evil, despite being a pure devotee. Maybe his story is a metaphor for all those who use Tantra for selfish, evil purposes.

I still believe it was proto-history depicted by the winner's side as it always has been even in present day. There's a lot of conflicting info here but then that comes with different sects taking on the story and evolving it within their own communities.
