The Wisconsin-born, Nashville-based guitarist got his first guitar at 14 years old and was onstage almost immediately after. Savage tone outta that Epiphone, wrap around tail piece and a single P-90 in the bridge position, one volume and one tone control, there's a lot to be said for keeping it simple 👍 I think the 50's LP Junior had the same set-up, wrap around tail piece and one P-90 in the bridge position, Gold Glory......may it bring him (and us) years of cool grooves 😎

Shout out to epiphone for becoming better than Gibson. I worked at guitar center for the past 2 years and I watched the quality of the 2 companies shift. Gibson customs are still great but Gibson USA and epiphone imports are basically the same quality, however the gibsons had weird defects like the bridge not being sank in the correct spot so you couldn’t intonate the guitar. and the epiphone signatures are basically half price Gibson but with better quality control. If you’re looking for resale value go Gibson because of the name. If you’re looking for a worthwhile instrument that’ll last a long time get an epiphone around $500-$1000. Why spend $5000 on a Gibson Les Paul gold top when you can get an epiphone gold top for $500 and then put $300 worth of work into it, they’re the same thing. Gibson just wants you to pay for the name.
