I just bought my Epi LP 60s Series in Iced Tea used for $300 out the door. It's a great time to buy a used guitar.

Yep, that's a bargain, and you're right it's definitely a buyers market at the minute for used guitars. I love my Epi LP, Std it's a fantastic guitar. Thanks for your comments.

I have just bought one exactly the same as yours. The thing that impresses me the most are the pots, and their range so well done for showing that.

Thanks Mike, these are really good guitars and I love mine. Always been a fan of the vintage 50's style wiring on Les Pauls personally.

Got a few of these recent Epiphone Les Pauls a '59. Slash AFD, 60's standard, 50's standard and Classic. Honestly can't fault any of them for the money, they aren't a Gibson (though the '59 is as close as you can get!) but they're phenomenal quality and it's great to see them getting the appreciation they deserve. Great video! I hope you're still enjoying the 60's standard

Hello Steve and thanks for your comments. I'm loving the Epi 60's Standard and they are brilliant guitars for the money in my humble opinion. I went off Les Paul's some years ago as they were too heavy for me weight wise, (used to have 5 Gibson LP's back when I still played live). I sold them all and switched to SG's but to be honest, you just can't beat the sound of a good LP. Thanks again.

I got an Epiphone Les Paul Standard 60's a few weeks ago. Mine's Ebony. It keeps my Epiphone ES335 company! Thanks for telling me about the volume in the middle position. I was wondering about that.

Hi, how do you like the LP Std 60's? I'm loving mine. I think Epiphone have raised their game with these guitars - no way a Gibbo LP Std is 5 times better than one of these. Of course I'd still have the Gibson if money was no object because it will hold it's value better, but I'd happily go out and gig the Epi if I still played live for sure. Thanks for your comments.

@sgt1959 I like it. I was trying to decide on my first electric guitar. ES335 or Les Paul. Went with the ES335, but I still wanted an LP. Great guitar at a great price. I was at a GC, they had some Gibson LP Moderns on sale. Not as good as my Epiphone. I think I'll keep it!

I bought the Epi 50s Ltd edition and it truly was a great guitar, Gibson pickups etc. It was only spoilt by playing a 2022 Gibson LP 60s Standard. They definitely feel different. The 60s neck and 'nicer' feel set the Gibson apart for me.

Thanks for the comments Mick. The 60's neck is much more comfortable for me, (and many others). The new Epi Standard's are really great guitars and the ProBucker's sound fantastic.
