I'm excited for this series. Been needing to go through mine and re-voice/tune it properly, so it will be nice to get a rundown straight from the horses mouth. Cheers Dan

I was a keyboard tech for 38 years. People just have no conception how much labor is involved in restoring a Rhodes. As well as just doing regular maintenance to keep them playing well. People need to know they will need a bottomless pit of money to keep them in good shape, especially if they will play it every day.

Have they improved do you think? Like the Mk8 or same high maintenance?

@@Jason.Brayshaw I retired a couple years ago to a small town near the NC mountains far from any decent music store so I have not seen the new Rhodes. I do think that the Vintage Vib company has made some excellent improvements in the action from the videos I have seen. But their instrument sounds like a cross between a Rhodes and a Wurlitzer. To be honest, my favorite Rhodes is the Famous E Electric Piano which is a VST sampled Rhodes. And I played every sampled Rhodes in all the keyboards and digital pianos ever made.
