My dad was a K9 cop. He, my dad, retired to cancer. I love watching the dogs. Reminds me a lot of my father. We have a GSD and he’s gone thru some training with a K9 cop. Several of my friends are K9 cops. So cool to watch the training.

I'm 47 and have had dogs since I was 8. I prefer them to people if I'm honest. Youre right a day without a dog is like a day without sunshine. I got my current dog just before the pandemic hit and she was a lifesaver because I live alone but wjen you e got your best friend with you 24/7 and I made sure ti make the most of our daily walks ❤

I turn 76 next Monday and the only thing I asked for was to meet a K9 dog! Hope someone took me seriously and fixed it up! Just beautiful dogs, and I decided there wasn’t any gift I want more! Beautiful inside and out! What loyalty! ❤️

I am fortunate to have the Service Dog Memorial within 2 miles of my home. It is a beautiful Memorial Park for all dogs who service, whether it was in US Services, Police or DEA. It's so thought provoking to see how dedicated these dogs were to save people and do their chosen jobs. I always bring kleenex with me as their stories are there for one to read. South Lyon, MI

I have the utmost respect for our K9 officers and there handlers they have such a tough job, I had the honor of meeting a K9 and his handler, my grandma used to work for Snohomish county sheriff's office and one day there was a police officer with his dog and I was able to pet him and he was just so sweet, this was quite a few years ago but I'll never forget it thank you to all of our first responders and the k9s who serve and protect along side there humans we love you God bless you all 🇺🇲

They also have the ability to heal all emotional Trauma specifically healing 3 broken hearts. That’s why they are man’s best friend, I speak these words have firsthand knowledge. But when you’ve invested so many hours months years into your canine and you spend every single day every hour together you go places together and you go on adventures and experience amazing fun things, there’s nothing that means a dog handler more happy in the world than seeing everybody like a big old smile on his face eyes almost closed because he’s tired because you guys just had a fun day and you know when you get home and after you wash his paws off you’re gonna have an epic nap cuddle session. That’s weatherman‘s best friend because it’s face ago nobody gives a fuck about you after you’re 18, girls society your so-called “friends “…. But that canine, I canine will sit next to you at your absolute worst and still love you the exact same.

I am no friend of cops, but love and appreciate all animals. I rescue the ones that find me. I do not look for them! I took on a hard-core Belgium Malinois. We became best friends immediately, and he only alerted me if there was actual trouble. I have a horse farm, and he was better at monitoring things than me! I miss him! One of the toughest, smartest dogs I have ever had the blessing of having in my life! His name was Ghost, and he was apply named! Bad ass silent killer! No bullshit! Straight up right-hand man!

Great Job Editing and putting this together. If there was one critique it would be to see the leap and capture scenes. We saw a lot of the social side of the Dogs but not as much of the business side. Seeing that comparison in contrast of the kids petting the Dogs at school to the Dog chasing down and holding a perp. Kinda like the seeing officer who is friendly handing out stickers to the kids and then later that same day possibly tackling and wrestling a perp to the ground or even using lethal force. Maybe that would be your next video but putting that in there would deepen the emotion as that bond of heroism is displayed for the viewer. Just a thought, thank you for the video.

So, I started to watch videos of puppies and I ended up watching this documentary, I am afraid of dogs, however I love to see their videos, specially the dogs for law enforcement and service dogs. We have our share of dog parks named after K-9 officers slain in the line of duty.Gods.One day I was waiting for a bus.There was a veterinary hospital across the street and as I waited I saw a police car zip into the parking lot,and the officer,carrying his dog that was absolutely limp,run into the hospital.The risks these dogs face when confronting offenders,and yet they give their all,unreservedly. Thankfully,thankfully the dog I saw survived.

My daughter is blind and her seeing eye dog is a Black Lab. I don't believe there is *one* dog that has the most difficult job is the seeing eye dog. Pretend you are blind. Now IMAGINE that your dog must sweep his head down, up, but also the biggest duty. *They are doing their JOB* . Please do NOT even attempt to pet their dogs. Be friendly to the person but not her dog. It would take too much time to put down ALL that a seeing eye dog can do. But it WILL protect his handler. This starts with a *bark* . THEY DO *NOT* BARK except for danger. Only ONCE did Euro bark and it startles and frightens its handlers. He barked while walking the street. Other people will tell her what happened. It was another *dog* . Seeing eye dogs are taught to NOT react to any other dog, squirrels, thrown squeaky toys in parks, etc. However I ask you all. In public please short leash your dog. A dog pulled the leash on another dog and it lunged toward him. (Even if it was friendly) Yes, this means possible danger to their handler. I believe they "know" their handler is blind. Kristen lives in Toronto. She has her career in downtown TO. She navigates busy streets, subway, trains. Once trained her dog knows EXACTLY what door to use for work/office. Following the same *routine* is what is necessary.
