Yu-yu returns and is shocked by how much Urara has changed, and agrees to a fight. Urara has gained strength from her activities with Uniformers. However, Yu-yu wishes to help Urara remember what is more important than the fight she's currently aiming for.

Surprisingly emotional episode. Even Urara was mind controlled, Yuyu was really cold to her through the beginning. I find it hard to be a-hole to Urara, she has such a gentle personality. One of the best card duels I've seen. Really nice

Kanzaki wasn't exactly abandoning individuality, he just cared about Strength above all else. I mean did Rin or Shouma act differently or change personality wise? Been ages since I've watched FcBF so don't remember the other. Most of All this was OvDress's Kai vs Aichi RP vs SP

A question guys, I'm new to the Vanguard game and I ended up getting to know him through the Overdress anime,however I ended up getting curious about the old seasons and I noticed something very clear, which was the animations in battles were cut in Overdress. someone would know explain to me why this change?

Because Overdress was being marketed as something more akin to RL. Hell one of the episodes in Overdress S2 doesn't have a cardfight at all, instead Yu-yu and Tohya infiltrate Megumi's school. FYI, it's an all girls achool

At 7:02 Yuyu just has a second trickstar in his left rearguard slot? When he didn't call that Trickstar. It's been awhile and I'm trying to catch up with the show, but a few seconds before he Overdresses to Vairina Arcs he calls another card, not a second trickstar

Why does it feel like urara is just fighting normally but with upgraded lianorn while yuyu seems crazy and think that lianorn is weird for the first half of the battle

I mean out of the 4 masques we've seen, Lianorn Masques is the most sidegrade ever. Plus Urara isn't fighting normally. She usually goes for a full 3 attacks on her G2 Ride turn and yet both times she's used Masques she's waited, managing resources quite effectively. Plus IPD does not belong In a regular Lianorn deck in the slightest.

Try imagining how different the outcome of the fight would have been if urara chose to retire vairina arcs instead of garou vairina

Because Garou Vairina would've forced her to drop 5 cards minimum for it and Jheva.

Not really that different. In the End Yuyu would've intercepted with Arcs. We don't see Yu-yu's hand as much so we don't see what his discards early on were, could easily be any of the that help form "X Vairina." Add in the fact in X-Overdress it's 20k base and requires 2 cards at least to guard against it, that's 4 cards from hand to guard 2 attacks. Add in triggers and honestly it was better to get rid of it over Arcs who was only 10k from its turn after Overdressing due to its effect being an when placed effect and the extra power only lasting until end of turn, as well as being a 5k boost
