Lantern's videos are not getting demonetized, because he has rights for materials he uses ever since the beginning of 2021, in fact when you go on his channel homepage the video that pops up is him explaining it, I think he has a cap of 5min or so of video material per race he can use, that's why even the best race ever like Col du Granon 2022 TDF is still sub 10min video and also why some races he cannot show, so he does not have rights to italian races like Giro, MSR etc. although he made some deal for historical footage some time ago, but what he is doing is fully legal, he is after all an ex-lawyer so he should be demonetized. The podcast however was there before that, he and Benji started in 2020 just before TDF, so despite the highlight video channel being more popular, it was not first. The Visma job started I think end of 21/start of 22 season, initially Benji also was in it, after a year Patrick stayed, Benji left (although he worked also for Lotto Dstny, not sure if its a thing anymore, or was it just temporary or anything) but coming back to Patrick he recently got promoted/got much more publicly acknowledged as part of the team after some changes in the team structures. So to summarize - Patrick's got the rights to the videos, he should not be demonetized for them, got them legally and its not because of being a Visma employee, quite the opposite actually, he's more a Visma employee because of the recognition he got from making these videos (but probably mostly because he's such a damn hard working guy)

Notes for Dylan on tire pressures from an "old guy" who actually wrote stuff down. 1988 race set up: Columbus SL frame, 58 cm, Mavic GL330 rims, Vittoria CG tubulars, ~21 mm width. Most in the Midwest ran the plumper Vittoria or Clement sew ups because our roads suck. I had , per the fashion, just swapped my 38 cm Sakae bars for a set of 42 cm Del Mundo bars, because of Hinault. Total weight bike and rider 202 pounds. 120 psi dry/100 for wet roads. I was running 100 psi dry, but after flat/rim damage on pothole at Millender center criterium (downtown Detroit) upped the pressure. Saw first carbon frame at that race in 88 or 89, Michael Secrest riding his Kestrel. By the way, Secrest had bright red bibs, so Dizzle wasn't the first. My buddy Craig ran the Conti 19mm sew ups, he dropped from 170 to 150 psi after they ruptured in a hot car.

Drew just does not have the charisma he might think he has, instead coming off quite rude and egotistical, and the other guy, Adam isn't far behind. Taking a phone call during the show 25ish minutes in? How is that professional in any way? It felt like Tyler was the only one with any modicum of respect and dignity and every time he engaged with the hosts, it felt like when I try and talk with a high school kid. VC used a text book gaslight technique on Dillman at 40:13 - 40:50. VC tells Dillman that Dillman was trying to make himself sound better by not disclosing on social that he had sent the footage LATE. All the while, VC presses this point while knowing that VC himself told people the footage was not sent AT ALL. VC then appropriately gets called out on that very point of discrepancy by Dillman. After this overbearing performance, VC needs some serious self-reflection and to check the ego, which was out of control.

BUT it was some free promotion for dizzle because it got me searching for his socials. Having said that, dizzle comes off as a little insecure here. And the constant joking, especially with strangers, does make him come off as a douche. Even in this podcast, I've never seen someone make jokes and need to follow it up with "my joke is so hilarious, you see, because I'm being sarcastic" as much as he did here. Not sure why he clings to that personality so adamantly when it's clearly a turn off, and hides the fact that dizzle actually seems like a nice guy. Maybe ease up on the excessive sarcasm and bro energy when dealing with strangers. Especially when they are trying to actually get some business done.
