I’ve been saying this about kuma if kuma comes to egghead a lot of ppl think he’s gonna try to fend off Saturn or give luffys pain to Saturn but I think kuma is gonna absorb luffy’s pain and before he dies he looks at luffy go gear 5th nd it would be a full circle scenario to were he finally gazes his eyes on the warrior of liberation sun god nika and wen he passes into the afterlife he sees his family and his whole race kinda like what ace did in the war of the best nd he tells them he has arrived sun god nika nd he can also see Bonney before he past nd it she would get the closure that kuma never got with ginny then after we see that we get a few exchanges between Saturn and luffy then his heart beat powers the robot up nd that’s how they escape

50:58 I wanna say Mihawk would not be effected the same way as the admiral did towards Shanks haki. Just because Mihawk isn’t a conquerors or and at least not a confirmed one (yet🤷🏾‍♂️) doesn’t mean he’s spineless. Green bull was a fanboy of Akainu, he’s a follower, someone who’s not only trying to have efforts noticed and be acknowledged but also respected on some levels by the man he respects so much. Mihawk is known worldwide as the world’s greatest swordsman probably a title Mihawk got totally disregarding Shanks based purely on his swordsmanship. Back in the day this man was known as the marine hunter. Mihawk is probably a noble, as a noble he would of course see first hand how strong marines can be, and similar to chavandish but instead of wanting to live a life a fame and publicity Mihawk wanted to fight powerful opponents and his prey choice for a long time happened to be Marines cause they were close proximity and a marine would put a better fight than some random pirate or traveler. That would also explain his manor of speech and etiquette. With all that being said Mihawk more and powerful marine until he probably hit a ceiling with most general Vice Admirals witch also possibly leading a confrontation with godsknights he ends up defeating one and taking his blade(Yoru) going on to challenge foes like shanks in the future.

Luffy’s juxtaposition with Garp/Dragon indirectly characterizes Luffy’s vision of freedom. Plain and simple.. Dragon is trapped dreaming of a better future for those outside of the system and Garp is just so with those inside of the system. They both lack the freedom to act.. at least until they hear the drums of liberation

That would mean certain death for all of them... look at it this way: WG deals with rebellion all the time, so they will limit their response to Dragon in case he insight a rebelion in one or two nations, if Dragon acted against the celestials themselves, that is whole new story, Marines would have certainly send their best just like their did with Luffy. Luffy was saved by Kuma, who would save Dragon? how many people would have die? and remember, Dragon is not where near as powerful then as he is now.

@uncleshumagorath534 Doesn't matter. The plan doesn't even need to be that complicated. You sail to Sabaody Archipelago. When nighttime hits. You and Kuma teleport to Marejois. Kuma plants a bomb while Dragon uses his Observation Haki to find Ginny and run to her. After 5 minutes, the bomb goes off as a distraction. Dragon uses that signal to sneak inside and grab Ginny. Then they meet up with Kuma at a rendezvous point in Marejois. Finally, Kuma sends all three of them back to headquarters. Simple in and out plan. Little to no danger. The feds don't even need to know it was the revolutionary army that did it.

They would known immediately, she is a revolutionary and the only people willing challenge the WG for their comrade are the revolutionary, truth is there is no way they could pull that off without the WG knowing it was them, and the that leads them into the question of: now what? Kuma's girls is back and everyone is going to die, this is now a war, a war that the Rev are not prepared for, a war that will get them all killed, a war that will see all the areas they freed enslaved again and guess what? Jinny would have also been killed anyways. Rescuing Jinny would have been a disaster for them.

There was nothing he could have done as he tried everything. Luffy was lucky they sent Kizaru and not Akainu, if it was Akainu one piece ends in Sabaodi island, Luffy was lucky Rayleight was there, Luffy was Lucky Kuma was there, Luffy is lucky that he is the main character. All the things that Dragon just cant count on and contrary to Luffy, Dragon is leader of an army not just a group of Pirates numbered less than 10 :)

I just want to say, I think we call all agree that, in the end, Zoro and Sanji, probably even jinbei at this point, will be Yonkou caliber fighters. How they get there, up for debate. I think there’s a very good reason we don’t have any clue what Mihawk is capable of. Him and shanks are in a caliber of their own in my eyes. There’s something that both of them know or some power/ability that makes them as strong as they are. In my opinion, whichever happens first, either Luffy vs shanks or Zoro vs Mihawk, will reveal the next tier in power to us. (I’d love it if it were literally the ability to merge the different haki together, amplify it, and use it. Maybe projectiles, showing someone your vision of the future, delaying attack effects, etc.) I personally feel like all of this will happen at Elbaf, if not, right after because I think it’s immediately to Laugh Tale after Elbaf. Also, I want to add, narrative wise, I think Mihawk is like a more advanced Ryuma. If we look at “passing on the torch” Mihawk is what Ryuma was back then. The student always surpasses the master, so in theory, Mihawk over Ryuma. So, in the end Zoro will probably be the strongest AND most skilled swordsman to ever exist, surpassing Mihawk and Shanks, too.

Hey y'all I'm Coop!! Been watching the show for a couple months now, Love it. But the Garp/ Dragon hate is crazy. I had to write something up to argue my thoughts. What do yall think? Thoughts of Grap, Dragon, & The OP Universe:
 One Piece is set in a pirate-dominated world, a realm known for its cruelty and ruthlessness. Like in most narratives, each character is the protagonist of their own story, and we happen to witness this world primarily through the perspective of the Strawhat crew.
 Thanks to the exceptional world-building in One Piece, we gain valuable insights into numerous characters, allowing us to delve into the minds of many main characters. However, I believe our perception of the One Piece world is somewhat skewed because we mainly see it through the eyes of Monkey D. Luffy.

I'm wondering if the outcome of Shanks and Mihawk's clashes was affected somewhat by their ambitions. If Mihawk's life goal, like Zoro's, was to be the world's greatest swordsman I'm guessing he'd have more of a will to win those clashes than Shanks. Assuming they were relative, Mihawk would of had more of a personal stake in the fight aside from his pride, so in a clash to determine the strongest swordsman, I'd bet on Mihawk.. I'd say if Shanks was fighting to defend his friends, that might give us a more bloodthirsty Shanks that Shanks is the one I might bet on.

Kuma and Ivankov never lost fate in Dragon, we see that in 1099 when Kuma was willing to come back and fight by Dragon's side after saving Bonney. Let's just wait for more details on what happened within those 2 years. Because if you think Kuma just sat there and didn't think to go save Ginny, then you're funny. Kuma wouldn't listen to Dragon in that situation. This is a guy who had shown glimpses of tyrancy at the point. Remember, the Kuma that lost Ginny was not the same quiet, loving pacifist. The people get confused about is Luffy is mostly about luckiest pirate out there . Luffy is a lucky person and it’s proven times and times that used like extremely lucky. but with other groups, they’re not that lucky if dragon were to fight, they will be certain defeat. look up Garp what is Kobe and battle the blackbeard pirates and don’t make it out. Luffy would’ve certainly because he’s a hero and lucky. so many people get emotional or sensitive when it comes to dragon because he doesn’t jump in and fight for kuma .Luffy don’t have that much tragedy in his life. Mihawk could not beat Shanks. If Zoro is to Mihawk then Luffy is to Shanks. Zoro cannot defeat Luffy hence Mihawk can't defeat Shanks. Shanks true strengths have not been shown. The reason Mihawk did not want to fight Shanks is because of Mihawk's pride to lose to Shanks with only one Arm. If Mihawk is indeed superior he would tie one arm at his back and fight Shanks to prove he is stronger. Not to get me wrong I am a Mihawk fan but I know in a fight Shanks will win. Mihawk's title is linked to his sword techniques but not strength. In sword plays most techniques require two arms to release its full power. Just imagine Zoro with only one arm... His 3 sword style could not be displayed but I know Zoro will still find a way to capitalize on that to create a more powerful techniques with only one Arm. From what Shanks has displayed he is using more of the Gol D Roger sword style which incorporates only one Arm. And he was the strongest person in his era. Mihawk cannot beat Gold Roger.

Shank losing his arm does not mean he lost his strength but rather make him stronger. It has change how he fights. Let's take fujitora who is blind currently and before he was blind. You say since he lost his eyes he can't fight or be weaker than what he was but he is rather even stronger than what he used to be, because he can see with his Haki and this has even given him the advantage to fight even better. Also you say Zoro could be Luffy 😂.. Just to make it clear Nami always beat Luffy but that does not mean that in a real fight she could beat him. Sanji also makes threats to beat Zoro but in a real combat situation Sanji will lose. These things are to portray comic reliefs. Also to elaborate on Mihawk, he has always been the challenger. He goes to train and when he feels he is stronger goes to fight Shanks but Mihawk could not win and goes train and the cycle continues. If Shanks wanted to win he could at any time. The only reason Mihawk doesn't want to fight Shanks is because he is scared he would lose to Shanks even though he has lost his arm and it would mean he has been holding back All along and his confidence cannot handle that so he left it a draw.Another reason could also be he will finally win and he will lose the only drive to fight anymore and the only way he was able to win was because Shanks was not at his best.

The thing is Boruto is Month but every chapter is 41 pages. Once pieces last chapter r anywhere from 13-18. That’s almost 3 times less pages per chapter meaning you’re getting the same amount of pages in reality cuz ODA takes a break week. So you’re talking about 40-50 chapters from ODA and 40-45 from the other 2. ODA should just release it monthly and do 35-40 page chapters and everyone is happy and u r taking 10-15 pages off his work load. But giving the same overall amount of content

It he did a monthly manga it would be 40 chapters. I don’t see the issue. I understand it feels different but it really isn’t. They can even keep the anime weekly if they want to cuz you’re getting 3 chapters in every one chapter so it’s not like the anime will catch up to the manga. I think we as a fan base need to settle for what’s best for ODA or we might not get the ending at all.

It's unfair to fault individuals like Garp and Dragon for not being like Luffy. Luffy is youthful and impulsive, traits likely inherited from his lineage. Our knowledge of both Dragon and Garp mostly comes from later stages in their lives when they were older than Luffy is now. Just as we witness childish moments in Garp's character, it's reasonable to assume that he once had a similar youthful intent and demeanor as Luffy, and Dragon probably shared that as well. However, we recognize that a pirate world isn't all fun and games, despite Oda's skill in portraying it as carefree and joyful.
 Our time spent with Luffy is relatively short compared to the lifetimes that Garp and Dragon have experienced. It's easy to imagine that over time, they were compelled to mature and grow up. This likely explains the personalities we see in them today.
 As the leader of the revolutionaries, Dragon has likely faced the loss of comrades prematurely. This could have influenced his decision not to assist Jeannie when she needed it and also could explain why he chose to leave his son alone, avoiding putting him in harm's way or preventing his enemies from using his family against him. These decisions don't signify weakness in Dragon; rather, I believe they show that through his time on Earth, he has developed a deep respect for the lengths to which his adversaries will go to thwart his goals.
 I believe there's a profound and darker layer to the One Piece world that Oda intentionally portrays as a playground and uses Luffy as an anchor. It's crucial to remember that there are always multiple perspectives on the same story, which can lead people to become set in their ways. Yet, occasionally, disruptors emerge who challenge the status quo and shed light on the world.
