Enjoyed Part 2! After listening I was less annoyed about many of the selections. Still, ‘Rory and the Hurricanes’ But no ‘Weight of the World’? Thanks for another great TMT!

He had no Ringo songs from 1992-2005. That’s my favorite ❤️ period of Ringo. Very strange tastes.?

I ranked about 450 Beatles solo songs (the ones I really like) and trust me, especially when you like one Beatle especially: When you say you would include it, I also want to include songs like Don't Let Me Wait Too Long but in the end they land at about place 200. The top 100 are like the reaaally good songs (10/10) songs.

For me My Sweet Lord, Jealous Guy, and of course Imagine have to be in the top 5.. Essential songs that are missing for me: Silly Love Songs, Stand By Me, Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp, My Love, Let 'Em In, Mull Of Kintyre, I Live For You, Cold Turkey, If Not For You, Stuck Inside A Cloud, Nobody Loves You, Got My Mind Set On You, All Those Years Ago, How Do You Sleep?, Behind That Locked Door, Ram On, No More Lonely Nights, The Back Seat Of My Car, The Girl Is Mine and Say Say Say.

I’m having a hard enough time getting my list of 125 songs cut down to 100. Forget about ranking them in any order! I will play my list on shuffle once I get the list down to my top 100.

There are about 500 good solo Beatles songs, so when you say "not sure I would have put it in my top 100 at all" its more like if its in the top 500.

Juniors Farm like Hi Hi Hi were some of those many Paul rockers, they get forgotten now 50 years later. Only Jet has way more streams.

I still have a "turn it up" factor no matter the genre. al.most like I cannot get close enough just have to climb into the moment still. No boundaries. I agree wkth #1.

41-50: love the inclusions of Om Hare Om (one of my favorite bonus tracks from the ATMP set, along with Cosmic Empire and I Live for You), Monkberry, and I'm the Greatest; definitely wouldn't include Rory and Here Comes the Moon in my top 100, and 1985 and Calico Skies would be higher on my list 31-40: Deep Blue is one of my favorite George songs, so I'd put that one higher for sure; I've also never been a fan of Don't Let Me Wait Too Long (no tomatoes please!); Hi Hi Hi is great, but not better than 1985 or Junior's Farm; I LOVE that Dominoes is this high; it's my favorite track off Egypt Station, but it would probably be closer to 50 or 60 for me 21-30: this might be my favorite block yet; Be Here Now, Working Class Hero, Blow Away, Live and Let Die, What is Life, and Handle with Care are all-time favorites for me; Give Peace a Chance is the only one that I would say is ranked way too high here; great message, but sub-standard song; probably low in my top 100 if at all; speaking of... get out the pitchforks because Jenny Wren has never been one of my favorites; it does deserve to be in the top 100, I would just put it a lot lower 11-20: ugh Let Me Roll It... that one probably isn't even in my top 100... for me it's overplayed and overrated; I like Oh Yoko, but 11? no way. Photograph, Instant Karma, My Sweet Lord, Jet, Oh My Love, Jealous Guy, and Here Today are all in my top 25 for sure; Apple Scruffs is a great tribute in my opinion, but maybe in the 90s for me, if in my top 100 1-10: agree with most everything here except the wtf moment of Pure Smokey (which also wouldn't make my top 100; probably not even my top 100 George tracks); like Kit said I would swap Too Many People for something like My Sweet Lord or Instant Karma or Photograph; It Don't Come Easy is my favorite Ringo track as well, and of course Imagine and Maybe I'm Amazed have to be here; I might have God in my top 15, but probably not at 2; here's my final tomato throwing/sacrilege moment: I actually prefer Version 2 of Isn't It a Pity (both for the length and arrangement); however, even then it wouldn't make my top 25

Paul is the ultimate pr man so i,m sure he did Let it be to promote the up coming Let it be film! at the Jimmy Buffet concert
@ewest146 ай бұрын
Paul performs Let It Be all the time, especially at moments like this. That is some very cynical thinking from you. Also he’s actually not that great at PR. Just something John said as a PR move in itself and now everyone repeats it
@kenmichaelsradio7486 ай бұрын
Paul said he performed it for Jimmy a week before he passed. It's probably why he chose that one.

the 70s are just more essential and its objectivley better. Thats the difficult thing because the great 2000s songs (and the 80s songs that have dated production) would probably be in the area of place 300-200. But I agree about the missing big hits, they have to be in the top 100 somewhere..
@ricardo_miguel136 ай бұрын
Apple Scruffs and I Dig Love may not be one of the better ATMP songs, but they are way better than 90% of Somewhere In England and Gone Troppo..

I would have put Band on the Run as #1 because if it's impact on the music world. The fact that it was a mutli-parted song which wasn't being done on the pop/rock charts at the time and put Macca out in the forefront does it for me. In a weird way it was a bit Prog! IMO you can't fault a song due to ear fatigue. If that were the case then Imagine, It Don't Come Easy and My Sweet Lord would be 100-94. I like Give Me Love better than My Sweet Lord and I think that Mind Games is just as great as Imagine. God is actually a very intense song and am glad to see it where it is. Maybe I'm Amazed is a great song but would be in the top 20 for me and not #1...The live version would rank higher for me the solo from WOA is much better. Lists are so hard sometimes... and no Junior's Farm? It makes me think that the guy who did this the list used AI, that was another song that defined 70's MCartney.
@kenmichaelsradio7486 ай бұрын
Mike--Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey was a multi-parted song as well, predating Band On /the Run by 2 years! Lists are extremely hard, I agree!
