Hi Stephanie! Love the gnomes - they are so adorable. And the adaptation with the pom pom is so clever! I had to laugh when you mentioned The Day the Crayons Quit because as I was watching I kept having to restart a jar cozy I was crocheting. Definitely had an “I quit!” moment! 😂🤦🏻♀️

Gnomes!! I just pulled out our gnome Christmas book to flip through to find some gnome activities :) Your Paul Klee is so you and is so beautiful.I'm gushing over that one. I appreciate what you say at the beginning. In the overlapping carework circles/communities that I find myself in, we call that "usable time". Everyone has different usable time and by acknowledging that, we can understand eachther better and help eachother better. Ok. Now I gotta go make some gnomes ❤ Cheers to you and your making!

I love everything you shared. I’ve put the Paul Klee sweater into my favorites. 2025 will be knitting for myself. I have tended to knit and give everything away. You inspired me to make 2025 my sock knitting year. I’m not a sock knitter! But want to be. For Christmas I ordered myself Farmers Daughter Sock Club. Thank you for the tips, inspiration and recommendations. (I only found you a few months ago so on the weeks you don’t post I catch up on past videos, you’re so talented❣) Right now I’m reading The Berry Pickers by Amanda Peters….not fantasy or YA but you might like it.

Super hot here in Australia, making festive gingerbread biscuits with the grandies and some op's grandies, then they'll go for a swim, but the air con is on. My oldest grandie goes to a small Montessori school in our semi rural area, so I'm Oma (Dutch for grandmother) to all the kids of the school. I recently purchased the Gnomes of Grimblewood book and finished the November Gnorri makelong, currently enjoying the mystery gnome mal - Gnana's Visit. I love making the gnomes from leftover sock yarn. If this keeps up I might have to attend a Gnomes-anonymous. Thank you for another enjoyable episode, love your channel

P Klee sweater colors are gorgeous! Thank you for some good pattern ideas! I prefer drop biscuits (if I have to roll out, too much flour/handling=hockey puck…). I never thought about plunking a biscuit on top of soup/stew! I usually have wide buttered noodles w a stew-style “soup” on top. Did we get spoiled w a very (!!) warm October & November?? I prefer cooler temps vs hot hot (sweaters!!!), but I don’t like to BE cold… Knitting & crocheting on whatever… no real plans! And listening to audiobooks (or podcasts/youtube knitting related). “No PressureKnitting”!!! Happy knitting (crafting)!!

Love your podcast this one was especially great. I love seeing all the projects you made for gifts of all this talk of Good Wool by Purl Soho leads me to a question for me. Does it pill a lot? I used some of their Knitting Yarn and although I loved knitting with it, the sweater I made pilled terribly. Would love to know your thoughts before I buy any of this yarn.
@EdibleThoughtsMakesАй бұрын
Thank you so much! Great question. I haven't had a lot of pilling with Good Wool and I've used it in a lot of garments. I also haven't had a lot of pilling with Knitting Yarn though. Not sure what to tell you!! Sorry!! In comparison, I feel like Purl Soho Widgeon pills A TON - like with first wear there was a lot pilling so I wouldn't use it in a garment again or anything with any friction.
@joanngrigoli5349Ай бұрын
I am also interested in this yarn and was wondering how soft it was. Did you use a sock yarn on the neck because it’s scratchy? Love your videos btw!
@EdibleThoughtsMakesАй бұрын
@@joanngrigoli5349 I don't find Good Wool very scratchy but merino is definitely softer. It was mostly a color choice reason since Good Wool doesn't have a neon pink! And thank you!
