Fun Podcast idea, add little bits where One of you pretends to go back to houses being the 'Yard Sale Enforcement' making the yard seller follow the same rules ebayer resellers do. Like one time, bring back a VCR and ask them to also pay shipping to return it because it didn't work like they said, another time show up asking them to refund buyers who 'changed their mind', another time revoke their right to sell in their yard for bad feedback, another time tell them the algorithm is rerouting traffic away from their house. Yard Sale Enforcement....make them earn their 50% of ebay selling price, somewhere something you said made me think of this.

Ironically, our Walmart got rid of all checkers. It is only self-check out now with a few people to help/watch us. They even have cameras on each register and if you don't scan something, an alarm goes off and they come to review the video.

It's always best to wait before you haggle. If possible get to the item and inspect it, then haggle if necessary. This gives you more power and reason to haggle if you find flaws, quality issues, odors or less quantity in this event.The fact you were already negotiating but didn't even see the item in person and didn't even know exactly what you were getting.

There is a way to default to solds on android phones. When you are in filters and go to "sold items" there is a lock icon to the left. Click on the icon, it turns blue and then whenever you do any future searches it will immediately show you all the solds. You wont see any of the current listed prices unless you shut off the lock icon. I always turn on the sold lock before I go to yard sales.

I answered yes it did both and asked if sometimes they get stiff or what. They then asked for a picture of me squishing it and twisting it…he’s blocked now! 😂

I know stuff, soon as you type it in it will show you the number of listings, after you switch to sold it will show you how many sold, then its quick math, 50% or higher I usually pull the trigger, anything lower I have to start taking variables into consideration

When I do comps on the app I leave condition locked to used. I look at the number next to the check box. Then i scroll down, toggle solds on, go back to condition to get the number of solds. Then i take a look at the sold prices.

About people from yard sales pricing eBay listed amounts. I went to GW bins yesterday there was a box of items with garage sale un bought items with prices. One with $100 & $25. The cashier said wow. I know I won’t get that much. But at least I only paid about $3

You can lock filters on Android. In the filter screen scroll all the way down and you will see 'Customize'. From there just select Lockable Filters.

don't let anything get more than 90 days old - it won't move unless someone comes into the store and just searches your stuff - the main search will not show the old stuff - and if your whole store is stale they will not give you the premium traffic (ie people who buy) but will send you the tire kickers ebay tracks the buyers as much as (or even more) than the sellers - polish pete's channel is a great watch on this this is why a lot of what tek has to say is no longer valid - other than his processes and discipline that is gold
