My family is from Appalachia, I love this anthology! I've spent a lot of time in those hills and hollars and it can get creepy after dark. This guy is a great story teller.

My english’s not the best and i don’t understand what’s meant by “to make good on her word”? Was she the one who “summoned the damned? Have i missed something during the story?? Otherwise, the atmosphere is so well tought of, the tone and how the story is told is awesome! The overall arching concept is also really promising! Reminds me a bit of Khazad-dûm haha!

To "make good on your word" is to keep a promise, or a vow.

Some of the English sentences used in this Podcast are "archaic" as in they have not been commonly used for a long time. Additionally, the story is written through the eyes of somebody living in the deep country, meaning certain unusual phrases may be used

"One who summoned the Damned" . The "Damned" is a person that has gone against their Gods Will and are being Punished for doing so.The only One that can Call them to his command, is A demon or a Being of Evil or the Devil himself.
