Hi Guys! Our last episode for the epic trip! We leave the Percy Group headed for home. We come across a lot of Whales and make it home just in time before the bad weather and the boat running on fumes! Hope you enjoy Jill & Mick

Great work guys, loved every episode. I had a bit of a giggle to myself thinking any overseas viewers probably understood only half of what you said! Love our Oz vernacular :-) Looking forward to your next trip.

Thanks guys! Yep, as comfy as we were, a looong hot shower & your own bed is nice! Although sometimes I say to Jill if she's looking for me one night I could be camped up in the boat... 🤣

Hi guys , great effort. Just a question on the boat though. How much growth was on the hull at the end of the trip ? And what are your thoughts on perhaps anti fouling. I have spent three weeks on my own trailer boat and it definitely needs a good scrub after that length of time on the water. Cheers Alex.
@makeithappen2021 Жыл бұрын
Hey mate! Thanks! Yeah there was a bit of growth when we pulled out as in this vid. But I had scrubbed the hull twice in the two months. It really wasn't too bad, good pressure cleaner sorted it out. This year I sprayed the hull bottom with spray wax to trial out if it was better. Admittedly it was only a month this time but it was a bit better...

Hi there just a question, just wondering on what fuel you think you would use going from Yeppoon to Percy and back ? Thank you
@makeithappen2021 Жыл бұрын
Hey mate.. thats a tough question without info.. what are you in and what does it use? Percy’s is about 100nm or 180km one way. So in Heave Ho, you'd need 360 - 400 just to cover the trip plus 100 for play? Even though we never did a straight percys return trip we did a few Swains trips which is the same distance so I'd use the bladders for the 180km trip there and have the 450L on board for play and the return trip.
