That big accessory is an accessory created by Mezco called "The Bat Brick" and, according to Mezco, it's supposed to be a heavy duty "assault" batarang. Which is kinda cool considering that the Sovereign Knight also has a heavy duty batarang kinda showing an evolution in his gear as well as his suit.

I agree, the standard one is better for detail and price. The total black is nice, of course, but i still prefer the standard and he is much cheaper. I'll never spent 200 or 6000 bucks for a 6" figure.

Im a Batman collector and I wish I could get the Batman Day version. But thanks to Hurricane Maria I missed the pre-order day. And the prices now are insane!

I have the blue variant on pre-order, should be pretty much identical to standard except of course, blue. My standard has a loose right ankle, but still a cool figure.

The standard looks a lot better on display, in my opinion. The one hundred and twenty dollar difference is the second factor in my decision. Heck, that's another Mezco figure and a half.

I won't be buying any Mezco's or hot toys for that matter, the cloth materials just don't look good, although I do like the design and the accessories. If they figured out a way to use the cloth but with a some kind of nano thread technology that makes it look more accurate to scale then I think these figures wound look great. Not sure if I explained it correctly, I think its because the thread they use is more suited for real sized clothing, but if they have some kind of new tech I think it will bring in a new era of toys. Still enjoyed the video!

BLueSun I’m kinda with you overall. The detail in the headsculpts of these ascending knight batman figures leaves a lot to be desired too. Can you explain why you think the soft goods look bad for figures this scale?

Your problem is just like mine with diecast cars' paints. The particles are as big as real life cars' paints, making it look strange on such tiny models.

Before owning any mezcos, I was skeptical on them. After acquiring Deathstroke and the regular Ascending Knight, I am sold on Mezco. I have several on preorder. Also helps that this line got me back into collecting since I don’t collect any other 1/12 scale lines anymore. Can’t wait for PX, and I hope I find it for a good price

Thanks for this video. Nice to see this figure getting some love. I have both as well and I paid the eBay price to get the mezco exclusive. I stupidly passed on it at first when announced last year and soon regretted it. The black with gold belt version to me was a must have. To me its more a homage to the Nolan Batman Begins suit rather than the Burton Keaton 89 suit. I have the blue on order as well. While at first when announced I was not that enthusiastic as it was on the heels of the BVS releases and felt like overkill, but once i started ignoring the message boards and accepting the fact that i am big mezco fan, these were must haves. Also, great setup in the cave there... love the bar. Congrats on a cool channel.

Off topic from this video, from your last video is there anyway I can get one of those 12 in Marvel Legends Wolverine that that 1 Toys R Us you went to had I can give you money. My local Toys R Us is getting bare bones, I don't feel like driving out there to Ohio for right now. I'm in the Chicagoland area.

Cincy are do you have the Darkseid and Blade Mezco on pre order? Both look awesome. I got Blade on preorder, not sure about Darkseid with the price.
