Was on a cruise through Alaska and we saw a great white surface in water right in front of our balcony and it was like he came up to see what was in the way or so loud ..he looked and he instantly ducked back down. My camera us slow so got a pic of him just under water.

Crazy! Thanks again for another great video- and for throwing those conversions out for us who can only go by feet and Fahrenheit 😂
@yorky95852 жыл бұрын
I still don't understand why Americans use Fahrenheit. Celsius is just much simpler and makes more sense. Freezing point 0c and boiling point 100c .

@@yorky9585 According to most sources there are only 3 countries in the world that haven't moved over to the metric system: the US, Myanmar, and Liberia....(So the US is in good company). You can't argue against (like you said) the fact that metric is a far "simpler" system - surely that fact alone would have an attraction for most Americans (no dig intended towards Golden Rule Girl).

I am fascinated by white sharks of the Mediterranean/Adriatic, which studies have shown are most genetically linked to the white sharks in the Sea of Japan. I wish Ocearch or some other group would do more research about the white sharks of these regions. All of the big studies/documentaries seem to take place in the big 3 hotspots: Australia, South Africa & California. And of course all The tagging and research by Ocearch of Atlantic White Sharks.

Any body of salt water that has a river mouth near is going to draw sharks.

Despite the post's title (and what you might read in the media), shark attacks don't actually happen "in Russia" )) But for sure there are many species of sharks in the waters off Russia's Pacific coastline - I think most attacks have happened off Russia's Primorsky Krai region (where the city of Vladivostok is located) or off the islands in that part of the world.
@stepanterechshenko54352 жыл бұрын
what you mean it is in Russia? where they happened then according to you
@grantchallinor52632 жыл бұрын
@@stepanterechshenko5435 I wrote my comment with a sense of humour in mind Stepan. There is a huge distinction by saying something happened "in a country" compared to something happening "on the coast of a country" or "in a country's waters." So, to be correct, the shark attack happened off Russia's Pacific coast, in Russian waters in the Pacific, or in the sea off Far East Russia. In Moscow (despite some ignorant people thinking otherwise) you don't see bears on the street! But I have seen horses, goats, woodpeckers, squirrels, sparrowhawks, foxes, and even bats in Moscow. I've even seen beavers out in the Moscow region on the Klyazma River... but I've never seen a shark "in" Russia))
