Lmao, I did something similar to Jesse in school. We had this student auction after each big exam period were we'd spend this fakr monopoly money we had earned with grades. One of these periods, my class happened to do this a day ahead of the other 3 pods. I saw the opportunity to take the discarded fake money and give it to friends in the other pods and even sell some to other kids for them to use in their auctions. My teacher wrote a scathing letter to my parents calling it. "A conspiracy and defrauding the class in the vein of Capone." My dad thought it was the funniest shit ever.

What they mentioned in the first episode is that, by all accounts, he just seemed to be a normal guy, but regardless of whether there's any truth to what he saw, I'd say there's some strong evidence of obsessive/compulsive thinking

As someone who has had sleep paralysis, it is terrifying the first time. The worst part is how hard it is to breathe since your body slows down your heart rate and breathing at night. I also have exploding head syndrome where you just heard loud noises in your sleep. So that’s fun! Thankfully it’s been over a year since I’ve had an episode. I think it’s stress related for me.

yea i dont think flash cubes need batteries, just new flash cubes. still thats only gonna light up the foreground, it wont help with things that are miles away

Can confirm those "noises" that people do when they are waking up from sleep paralysis or a nightmare. I taught myself to do so when I had recurring nightmares.. to just jolt myself awake from them. Now my wife tells me that she does hear me make those kinds of noises that Alex is describing he's friend did.

Haven't started listening to this ep yet, but coincidentally I started watching the X Files from season 1 since the last episode of the pod. Had never heard of Gulf Breeze before listening to the guys, but then it got mentioned in the X Files, so thanks guys! For all I would have known, that was some fictional stuff they made up.
