I believe creating a tour and a league for short stops and pros separately, and filtering the league similar to how premiere soccer league does being bottom 2 rotate down to the lesser league and top 2 move up through play off contention. Something that spices it up and creates drama. It would have to be a created season similar to the apa league. Then tournaments being a bonus instead of the only way to make money off pool.

Earl can’t be blamed because he always draws a crowd even if you don’t like the antics... maybe pool needs more drama in a way (hyped up grudge matches) and who doesn’t love Earl’s “I’ll shoot your heart out” attitude!

There was a union. Johnny Archer was the President I believe. It failed. The WPA also fined female players and disqualified some for playing in an unsanctioned "world" tournament. Around 2014 or so.
