Justin, I am not going to encourage you to keep going. If you hate what you are doing, and in this situation you have choices, hold your head high and be proud of what you have done. You are calling the shots here. You climb for you and what you want not for others. If you decide to go forward for you, again head high and plug on. Many are behind you either way. Hike your own hike, no one else’s. Be proud of you!

Heidi Ho Justin, I like that you keep it real. I can only imagine how flipping hard and kind of monotonous the A.T can be. I only have experience with the CDT decades ago. Before they've added what I like to call Creature Comforts of ALL these through hike trails 😆 😆.. I REALLY appreciated not only the shout out for the birthday. But ALL you said. It was quite moving. And I'm sure his parents that are sponsoring you really appreciated it too.Like you said you haven't talked about him in quite some time.. I'm not going to say you're almost there. Since you made it clear those are NOT encouraging words for you. 😆 everyone is different. So I'll just continue to say keep on trucking Justin. I feel like there should be one of those silver license plates on the back of your backpack lmao...Safe and happy travels.😘Oh yes so happy that you've got a tramily to finish with.
