I have never seen this video before, and yet it's over 2 years old. I don't know how I could have missed it. Its a beautiful and emotional 10 minutes of tribute to truly the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen. Yes , "Behind the Image ...there's a man." An exceptional human being who had a heart as big as the noon day sun. A man who changed EVERYTHING, musically, socially culturally. He had looks to die for, Charm and Charisma in spades, a voice that touched the very core of our being, and a generosity of spirit and soul like no one I have ever met, or ever even known of. Yes, and people all over this earth of ours, people of every race colour and creed, I believe could see the internal man that was him ,.....and we loved him, as one of our very own cherished and precious family members. When Elvis Aaron Presley died the entire world wept. In a way Elvis has never left the building. Thank you so much for this wonderful video, it was a labour of love. ELVIS......"A PRINCE FROM ANOTHER PLANET"

There will never be another nobody will ever come close to Elvis! Such a beautiful, kind soul! He gave us everything he had it's so very sad he felt so lonely 😔 Elvis said he wondered if he would even be remembered. Linda has said that once they were laying in bed talking watching the cameras at the gate she said Elvis they love you he said they love the image. He wondered if anybody loved the real him that's just so sad he was truly a beautiful, giving, caring soul. He said to someone he knew he was so lonely they ask you have all these people around you how can you be lonely, he said their not real friends they love the image. Elvis was always helping people and children and he didn't care about getting recognition for it. A interviewer once ask him look at all this you have everything he told them he would give it all up to have a normal life with a family. It just breaks my heart when people talk bad about him ,they have no idea how he really was . His manager worked him into an early grave for the money he even had to work to pay off Parkers gambling debts, Parker was a piece of shit! I wish everyone knew what a truly kind ,loving soul Elvis was 🖤

Hi Mitzi...have you seen the new Elvis movie? I hadn't planned on watching it until I heard that Priscilla & the family approved...I recommend you see it..it does an AWESOME job of pointing Col. Tom Parker out for exactly what you said he was! Elvis died when I was 7...I had just found him & cried for a week straight thinking I'd never see him again. I use to stay inside every Sunday while the family was outside grilling & playing to watch Elvis movies alone! I sat & wrote the words to every single one of his songs the day of his funeral. Of course I've watched so many "movies about his life" over the years..but nothing has ever been made like this. I really hope you get to see it!

And most important, maybe I can be human and flawed like him, and still be respected and even a little admired. Thanks E...your the King. SIP (swivel in peace)

I'm an Elvis fan too but he wasn't an angel on earth. He cussed constantly and worse he took The Lord's Name in vain often, which is blasphemy. Sorry I just get a bit uncomfortable when people say he was perfect or an angel on earth or something like that, because that idolizing him instead of hoping he repented of his sins and genuinely trusted in God alone before he passed. I truly hope he did, I hope he is my brother in Christ and is worshipping and praising Christ Jesus in heaven right now. I hope you don't get offend by my comment, I just get concerned people idolizing him and other celebrities which breaks the 1st and 2nd commandment of the 10 that God has written on every man's heart. If I'm off on how I read your comment and it's not really how it reads, forgive me.

Hello from England Elvis died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I remember this day as i was home from school helping my wonderful late mother make my cake. I remember watching the funeral of Elvis on TV (back then we only had 2 channels, the BBC and ITV). What sticks in my memory is seeing all those white Cadillac cars behind the hearse and there must have been at least 20. OMG The heading of your video:: Elvis Presley's Greatest Accomplishment was ELVIS himself. He was truly a " ONE OFF" thoughtful human being that gave the WORLD HAPPINESS and ENJOYMENT He was "DIFFERENT He DRESSED like nobody else He SANG like nobody else He had a "SWAGGER" like nobody else But the Human species is not perfect. We all have flaws in our "make up" and Elvis had more than most. Elvis never quit and GAVE HIS BODY AND SOUL right TO THE END. Only 6 weeks after his last concert he died. When Elvis came along my parents WERE ALL SHOOK UP. No one in Britain had seen the like but up to the mid 50's rationing was still in place and very few people had a TV so it was the radio they heard music. You know what John Lennon said about Elvis and where would Cliff Richard be without Elvis!!! I call Elvis my IDOL and i love him and when you see how many young people visit Memphis each year the music will carry on. Can i say that about any other entertainer? NO But those were different times, different people and a different society

I only recently started on this Elvis journey. I have to say, I am amazed, hypnotized, deeply moved, and in awe of the life Elvis lived. I was born in 74, so I was very young when he left this world. Growing up, I really didn't give any attention to who he was, just seemed to be some guy on a velvet painting or heard crooning in the background as time went by . I turned 50 this year, and I guess I just needed to get old enough to be in the right state of mind to be able to not only dig in as deep as I can go, but to be able to appreciate what I am finding. It really all began when my partner of almost 20 years and I decided we wanted to get married in Vegas this fall. We have always been involved in music over the years, mostly bluegrass and jambands, and even used to perform together as the band Moonshine Summit years ago in Houston. We found out that our favorite bands were going to be coming together over a weekend in Sept. at the Westgate Hotel (formerly the International) for the Bender Jamboree festival. Also on site is a wedding chapel, Chapel of Crystals. We booked our passes for the music which included a hotel room, and also booked our spot for getting married by an Elvis impersonator. In learning that this used to be the venue that Elvis performed shows at, I decided to take a closer look at who he really was. Boy did I not see this coming! I fell deep into the rabbit hole, and have been watching everything I can find to put all the puzzle pieces together. It has been a lot to take in, getting to know him this way. It makes me a bit sad that I will never truly get to know or meet him, but I am moved by the fact that his "legend" lives on and continues to spread. He got one more fan, in 2024. :) I am very excited about the wedding to come, and can't wait to be at the "International" with all the back history and knowledge that I would not have had if I had not taken this journey into his world. I wonder who else will be there that will appreciate what we are getting to do, see multiple bands playing over the course of 4 days in one of the places where Elvis broke the ground and set all of this into motion, making it possible for all our current rock music to even exist the way it has evolved. I know I will have that on my mind when I am enjoying all the music and dancing with friends, as well as getting married and celebrating the best way I can think of. It will be one heck of a party/reception. I also want to thank you for putting these videos together to share with us all. Strange things are happening everyday!

Here's another way of lookin at it........Go ANYPLACE on the planet earth, and ask people this question....."Do you know who Elvis is"? You don't even have to say Elvis Presley, just ELVIS, or go ANYWHERE on planet earth, and show a picture of Elvis, and ask them "who is that in the picture"? I GUARANTEE, Young or old, it doesn't matter, THEY'LL KNOW WHO IT IS, even if they're not an Elvis fan, THEY'LL KNOW IT'S ELVIS!! One last thing.....Back in the late 90's, My Mom's Pastor from her Church, went to South America to do some missionary work, and he said this village they went to was way back and deep into the Jungles in a rain forest, and was talking to the people that lived in this little Village, that had no electricity, no running water, or anything else like what we have. The leader of this tribe invited my Mom's Pastor and his interpreter into his hut to meet his family, and soon as he walked inside this small, tiny hut, he saw hanging up only two pictures....One of Jesus, and one of ELVIS!! Now Idk about everybody else, but to me, THAT SAYS IT ALL!!! 👑JESUS the KING OF KINGS🙏🙏 and ELVIS THE KING OF MUSIC!!👑 LOVE THEM BOTH!⚡TCB⚡4EVER!!

I came across your channel by accident I plan on watching all the episodes if possible but I will say I am 50 so I was only seven or eight when Elvis died and on your volume 1 the concert you mentioned I was eight days old. But I'm writing this to say that I live in Memphis have been born and raised here. My grandparents lived behind Graceland before a fence was up. They didn't know him as far as sitting down and having dinner but they knew him in passing and he was hit by that pond sometimes and called him by their last name Mr and Mr such and such he was very polite as we all know and as my grandparents told me. But, the one thing that was passed down to me that stands out is Elvis held my mother when she was a toddler. I was raised on Elvis Presley boulevard with all the stories and knowledge my grandparents could pass on they even ran the Elvis Presley RV Park. But the thing about Elvis even though I didn't know him personally I feel a connection to him, I'm sure a lot of people do and we can't explain why maybe was the interaction with my mother but I just wanted to say this thank you for doing the docs

Suddenly, in a bumper to bumper traffic jam, I realized I had to get over six lanes to get to the offramp. I knew nobody would let me in with the aggressive drivers in the SF Bay Area. I turned on my blinker and the car to my right waved me over. Then another car slowed and let me in. This happened for all six lanes. What's going on? Why is everyone polite? Then I realized that all the cars were going to the Oakland Colosseum to see Elvis. We were all fans, and together.
