My ride of the weekend was Ai Ogura. All the other slick riders were the sort you expect to take a chance, all his title competitors went with the wets. To go with the slicks, be back in 14th after the first lap, and finish 2nd, taking a massive gap in the championship. It was the opposite of Martin at San Marino, taking that chance and it playing off.

Casey stoner crashed a lot in his rookie year. Pedro will be one of the all time greats.. just wait a year or two
@tinshlong4 күн бұрын
He crashed the most in that 2006 season… failing to start one race as well from a practice crash. Lucky Ducati realised that a fast rider that crashes can be improved, but you can’t teach fast.

Im happy i dont have his commentary. His stupid post race interviews annoy me enough. Great race how do you feel question every single time. But i also think he'll be a shitty steward so not sure if it's a positive change overall. At least i can shut off the tv before his interviews but crazy steward decisions can ruin races

Hello, GREAT podcast. I just needed to vent a little on the rules application this weekend. Marc’s Q2 time, no advantage was gained, not even 0.001, that is why it is sooooo ridiculous. Plus, if the system has an issue and with how little the green paint was touched, it should, have been waved due to the fact that their was a problem and no time was left for the rider to try again. Also, how come Pedro was able to keep his time, makes nooooo sense either. They say he was too close to the incident, not at all. He passed several seconds after martin’s crashed. Very strange and frustrating rules application. Robed fans from a very special moment in Q2 and possibly the races.

Only finishes on an under-inflated tyre...said that last week,he'd have been down at Turn 16 too if it wasn't for a soft front tyre!
@captaintoyota31714 күн бұрын
Yeah its obvious ducatti seemingly are only ones who can control the front tire amd at these psi. Ir they r cheating but 0 evidence. Obvious psi is NOT a safety issue so why arent we testing a new tire in fp1? Cause its obvious its not up to the aero amd hot air it overheats/raises psi too high. If leaky rims are answer engineers will find a way. They need to open up psi a bit and make new front tire

Red something that DUCATI had to downgrade the recent upgrade from all GP23s after Marc's engine issue in the last GP race. This means the gap between GP24s and GP23s will be extended furthermore for the remaining rounds, which is good for Pecco & Martin.

Who is riding a KTM R16 faster? FFS give the kid a break. I only hope this bike does not breed some bad habits. It took Marques ages on a Ducati to overcome come Hondaitis. I am sorry he came down, but I can do nothing but admire the talent. If you ain't as good, can't do it, don't criticize.

Don't get me wrong here, this isn't any kind of slagging off of Pedro Acosta, I think he is an amazing rider, a true one off but unless I am mistaken, isn't he the only rookie this year? So, "rookie of the year" just seems a bit pointless, rookie of the decade? yes.

I feel sorry for Pedro as it looks like DORNA are needing another ''Icon'' (Rossi type) and the pushing, hype and manipulation is telling on him.
@captaintoyota31714 күн бұрын
I just think the ktm cant handle this front tire like ducatti and pedro pushes way past its limits somehow, so loses it. NO OTHER ktm could hold the pace Pedro had in qually or races. He will win, MM93 was that way too labeled a crasher. Its a bike limits must be found obviously binder isnt finding those limita

His overexaggerated leans with his body and his crude braking style at this level a redo. The overhype forcing this "golden boy" of MotoGP is getting annoying.
