Thanks for this. One additional recommendation, have a "pre-meeting" with whoever is going with you to the appointment so you're on the same page on what information you want to convey. My wife comes to my MDS appointments and occasionally I would say something that she wasn't aware was bothering me (side note: she often doesn't notice the subtle gradual changes).

I've been seeing a psychiatrist and he prescribes six different medications and nothing has helped and I'm so desperate to get my joy. I miss it so much.

I think it has been a balance of exercise, medication (sertraline), staying positive, and spiritual.
