I just started shore jigging. I've bought two rods, two reels a few jigs and been out three times and not even a bite. Watching youtubers cast and catch seemingly effortlessly was making me feel like I've wasted time endlessly researching and a tonne of money. Your videos are honest and show reality - it's a real pleasure to watch. I've gone everyday since I got the rod, going tomorrow, god willing it's not empty again lol.

Thanks my friend! For this season it's the last but a lot of hot stuff is waiting to get cut! 😃 But for sure a fish like like that especially Dentex is very rare. Wish hard and wait for the next chance - that's the attitude!

I have a friend pumping from the knees and He claimed He didnt saw it anywhere, it was just intuitive to him to gain few more decimeters by doing it... I was so happy to saw you doing it too... It also looks great from side camera. Having said that, This dent hurts but thats all shore jigging.. part of the game... Those hardest losses are what best anglers are made of ! Keep it up Max !

I lost a GT yesterday as I was shore Slow jigging. I use the Okuma Matrix 8ft rod & Okuma ITX 4000H reel with 15lb braid and 20lb flourocarbon leader. It's was atleast 14kg...

What's the accura's behaviour with a 60gr jig during cast and jigging? Do you manage to load the rod and cast far?

Hi Giuseppe, yes you can cast and fish it but Sonio 100M is much better for 60g Jigs. In terms of Accura 100M I think it's the lower end and of course it get's much more technical. For 60 g I strongly recommend Sonio 100M.

@@GiuseppeFormicaANGLER for spots like this and weight's like this I personally use Accura 100H. For spots < 25 m and 40g - 80g I use Sonio 100 M. You could consider Sonio 93 M it is stiffer compared to 100 M and definitely more technical to jig but it will manage depth/weight's/currents better than 100 M with a softer tip. But have in mind that main purpose of 93 M is more heavy spinning in my opinion.

Yes a proper hook set. Braid is PE 3 (Japanese line rating ~ 0,30) the leader is 40 lbs (0,58) Tight lines Max
