Now Im not saying I have a favourite cos you're all amazing characters but Mick is a blast to listen to with his wit (good site banter) Fair play to Amanda because she's so used to it and probably thought of smothering him will a pillow once or twice 🤣 Huge respect to Daisy and Pete for stepping out of their skillset and tearing into the graft (and Mick at times 🤣🤣) Much respect from the land of porridge and Whisky, stay safe folks

Haha you seem to know us so well! It's a steep learning curve but we have plenty more banter, wit and rainy days to share! Thanks for the kind comments!

You should have removed the old wooden lintel around that doorway, as it will rot away and create a gap. Also never use grey cement when patching/building stone walls. Use chaux and white cement. There is a product called Tradifarge that has it already mixed to the right proportions. It allows the wall to breathe and move with the rest of the building. Grey cement will crack.

Many thanks for the feed back! Much appreciated, we are still learning our way around the French building materials. Thankfully we haven't used any cement for fixing/patching our stone work, it is all lime based mortar. We will keep an eye out for tradifarge in the future. Thank you again.
