There are so many sets to choose from! What sets do you recommend for kids who are not going to be concerned about investing, but more about enjoying the actual cards (pictures, stats, notes) and collecting their current favorite teams and players (I.e. low cost but high quality)? Interested in MLB, NHL, and NBA. I assume Topps MLB Series 1 & 2 for baseball? Getting current (i.e. 2021) low cost commons would be fine.

You might want to consider Topps Fire for kids- those are a pretty fun rip and cool designs that appeal to younger audience!
