It's much too warm for knit wear, except indoors. Dr offices, coffee shops, and such always have the AC so high I often need a shawl. Yesterday I wished I had a throw as I was waiting to find out I still need the brace my arm. The bone is healing so very slowly. I love seeing all of the new things. Stay blessed.

Your devotional was lovely and I love your enthusiasm with your projects. I told my husband this morning that my most prayed prayer to the Lord is: "Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me." I am incredibly thankful for God's redemption work in my and others lives. Thank you!

I truly love the Christian message at the end. Its like you are sitting across from me and we are talking a mile a minute to get done before our time together runs out! Thank you so much.

Love all the colours you have purchased for all the shawls😂 I also bought the yarn from wool warehouse. Enough for some socks and a sweater. Thank you again for an enjoyable hour of yarn and chat and your message. See you on the next one. God Bless 🥰

Thanks for your podcast and your message, Ruth. I listen to Sinclair Ferguson's daily (every week-day) approx 5 minute podcasts entitled "Things Unseen" (Ligonier). Today he was also talking about being redeemed and the fact that we are redeemed only through Christ's blood and united to Him. I would really recommend Sinclair's podcasts. He has the knack of fitting so much into that 5 minutes. God bless. x

Just a note about the Ruth Shawl pattern; I used to work with students with disabilities. One of the main issues we faced was the contrast between the font and the background in written materials. The pattern instructions, as you know, are written with yellow on a white background. This combination is very hard to read. There is actually software available for people to check the contrast level of written material for readability. Just wanted to share that with you and maybe you could pass it on to the pattern designer. Thank you.

@@joannaherriott2677 Thank you for responding so graciously. Some people tend to be offended, but I know how frustrating it is to try to read items with low contrast. Hi Ruth, do you use your 9 inch circulars for your whole sock? Heel, gusset and toes? I love to knit my socks on 9 inch but I switch to dpn's for the heel, gusset and toes Could you give a little explanation how you knit the whole sock with them? Love your podcast :)

Yes all on 9" till the toe decreases then I use DPNs like straight needles. So one for front stitches then one for back. Easy x
