Applecross & the road through Glencoe to finish - saved the best till last. Shame about the weather, we did West Coast last year and had wall to wall sunshine for a week, so hot one day we went through a section of road with melted tarmac on it! Looking forward to next week!

Very enjoyable video Steve, did this route the opposite to you both on a GSA, GTR and a motor home! I love the campsite at Applecross, short walk through the forest and you are at the Inn, great food and craig. Happy memories. Looking forward to you crossing the Alpine pass.

That was one of the best bits, I rode the other way last year and the views across to Raasay and Skye were spectacular as were the Torridon mountains at the start of this episode.

Have really enjoyed the series. Like the relaxed style and presentation. You passed by Shieldaig but in the village right by the loch is one of the best cafes in Scotland called Nannys, love that place. Cheers and all the best.

I'm really enjoying your vids Steve. We seem to be kindred spirits in liking those types of roads in wild places like that, I love that type of music too (going to hunt the artists down and get some of their stuff), and I ride an RT1200. There are times when I wish the BM was a little less bulky but most of the time I wouldn,t want to be on anything else. Holy crap, happy days! Safe riding.

Steve that was superb, the only part we have not done as yet is Applecross pass itself, every time I watch this trip brings back great memories, Applecross next year, your Bm looks clean, you must be up early to wash it down, and Deks. That’s a proper cliff-hanger there!! I think my eyeballs nearly exploded in my helmet in the 10-20 mins after this! Brought back some superb memories. Just before you get to the ‘main hub’ of Applecross, we stopped for lunch at the Applecross Walled Garden Cafe which was superb.

Last week I came back from applecross to south wales in one hit 630 miles in 12 hours in the seat, it took me 5.5 hrs to get the south side of Glasgow.the whole trip home was done without the use of my rear brake ,the pads had worn to the metal. Serviced 6 weeks prior to trip.

My favourite stretch of road in the whole of Scotland is the Torridon corridor (the A896) from Kinlochewe to Shieldiag. Stunning, absolutely stunning.

Been a great ride so far, now you're coming up to my favourite road in Scotland, the A87 from Dornie to Invergarry, absolutely stunning once you've got past the feral goats at Glenshiel! Usually go up there three or four times a year, a great ride to Skye from sunny Scunny! ;)

It was one of the best trips we've done Rick and I have now put 10,000 miles on the BMW since I bought it from 5000 to 15,000 and loving every mile my friend.

The reason we did it anti clockwise my friend was the fact the trip got better and better the further you get round it scenery wise. East side not bad Top bit great and West side blows your mind.

Going up Cattle Pass (clockwise), going up that winding pass, I was stuck behind a cement mixer- that was an 'interesting' ascent I can tell you.
