Your mate mentioned Paul Longdon….. I played alongside him for Leeds City Boys. He is originally from Woodkirk in Leeds. As he said, long time Scunthorpe player. Didn’t realized he ended up in that part of the world….. was nearby last week doing. Similar ride to yourselves from Bolton.

Ha Ha !! I think it will bother him one day if his bike keeps taking a 'wee' and he never tops the coolant back up...! I've not seen the clamps but apparently it's difficult to get them tight enough to stop any leaks without overtightening them and crushing / fracturing the hoses?? Used to work around cars in a previous life...seen too many Head Gaskets blown and worse from overheating to ignore leaking rads / hoses.

Hi Steve, I really enjoyed this video, I live close to the Yorkshire Dales and you made me think how lucky I am. As soon as the weather improves (its been sleeting/raining outside today) I'm off up to Tan Hill. By the way that dry river is the upper reaches of the river Wharfe. In the Summer it often appears dry because the terrain is limestone which has lots of cracks and fissures and when water levels are low the river flows underground. There are lots of caves in the area like "Buttertubs" because of the limestone , all the best

Greetings from the U.S.A. Steve. Could you do a video of a ride to Stonehenge? Drone footage of the big stones would be stunning. John 0'Groots to lands end would be good too, I read about that ride as far back as 1977 in Motorcycle Weekly!

Should anyone be interested the aeroplane that buzzed you was a RAF Tucano turboprop trainer. You often see them low flying in the Lake District and North Wales as well.

Hi Steve, reckon I have watched this one before, always good to look back so we can look forward to this next season, I know we are, new R1250 in the garage waiting for the 1st March, weather will probably be rubbish. How are you keeping, ready for your first trip? Hope we can meet up this year? All the best. Derek(Lincoln)
@Steve-Clark-1200rt4 жыл бұрын
Hi Derek we are the same waiting for some good weather so we can actually get out and ride. We have Wales booked and other plans getting there. We will have to sort a meet up at some point later in year, Ride Safe my friend.

What a way to spend the day,great roads,weather,and good company ;-) Liking the cheeky editing at the start lol ;-) Can i ask what model Shark is your lid,and how d'you rate it ??? Ride Safe Baza
@Steve-Clark-1200rt5 жыл бұрын
Cheers Baza for watching mate and the lid is a Shark Evoline 3 and I love it main reason is that the chin guard flips right over the back. So basically you have a 2 in 1 as a full face lid or the open face which I prefer when warm enough. Hope this helps and ride safe buddy.
