I understand why people have a hard time with season 4. There are definitely plot holes and things that don't make a lot of sense. At the same time I'm enjoying Pharaoh's character development. It's interesting to see just how lost he is without Yugi. I love that you keep that solemn atmosphere while keeping it hilarious at the same time. That is hard to pull off and you do it extremely well.

Honestly, it would've been better for this season if Yugi was the bad guy for the season. If Dartz had half a brain cell, he should've known the best thing to do was brainwash Yugi's soul of whatever into doing his bidding. Then they can have Joey and the others try to snap him out of it. Maybe darts can control him because of his insecurities or something that will lead to character growth or anything other than the bland characters with a tragic background that later gets revealed to have been caused by boring filler arc villian.
